Hailee Steinfeld is reportedly attached to star in Sleeping Beauty.

According to multiple reports, Steinfeld is linked to a spec script for the project, which would update the classic story and tell it from the slumbering girl’s point of view as she tries to escape the world of dreams.

The young actress is coming off an Oscar-nominated performance in True Grit.

Steinfeld’s manager would not confirm the news to Gossip Cop.

Rebecca Black just passed her idol Justin Bieber, but probably not in the way she’d prefer.

Black’s video for “Friday” is now the most “disliked” in YouTube history, amassing 1.17 million “dislikes” since its release last month to top the 1.16 million racked up by Bieber’s “Baby.”

“Baby” has been viewed 500 million times, while “Friday” just crossed the 64 million view mark.

Of course, to become the most “hated” YouTube contributors, Bieber and Black had to post videos that were seen by insane numbers of people.

Gossip Cop thinks it’s kind of unfortunate two teenage kids share the crown of YouTube’s “Most Disliked,” but we’re heartened that both Black and Bieber seem to have exceptionally healthy attitudes toward their haters.

Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys will direct short films about breast cancer as part of Lifetime’s Project Five anthology.

The movie will “use humor and drama to focus on the effect that breast cancer and its diagnosis have on relationships and the way women perceive themselves, while searching for strength, comfort, medical breakthroughs and, ultimately, a cure,” said the network.

So far, there are no further details about the content of Aniston, Moore or Keys’ short pieces.

Aniston is also one of the project’s executive producers, as is Marta Kauffman, who co-created “Friends.”

“Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention,” said Aniston in a statement. “Otherwise, our goals are small. We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are.”

According to several insiders, Katy Perry may be cheating on recently wed husband Russel Brand with her sometimes writing partner and producer Benny Blanco.

The insiders say that Perry has been sleeping with Blanco who has produced songs fro Britney Spears, Ke$ha and others. Blanco it should be noted is a former Heroine users and sex addict and like Perry was raised as a devout Christian.

If the rumors are true, it would be quite the twist considering Perry’s hubby Russell Brand is in fact the admitted sex addict in the relationship.

Perry’s former “close friend” Angela Summers tells New Weekly that Katy and Benny have grown close. According to Summers:

“Katy has grown closer and closer to Benny Blanco over the last year.” Summers goes on to add: “Katy loves to flirt with everybody, but when she’s around Benny she gets extra flirty and only has eyes for him. She told me that she loves the fact he makes time for her whenever she needs him.”

Angela further stokes the fire by stating:

“I actually saw them together in the studio when they were mixing California Gurls. I saw Katy kiss him… It didn’t look like a friendly kiss,” Summers adds.

For now we’ll just call this one wild speculation.

Charlie Sheen isn’t winning in New York City. The Two and a Half Men actor has recently been banned from many of New York’s top hotels as he prepares to visit the city for his Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Tour.

The ban comes after Sheen snorted a bunch of cocaine and attempted to destroy a hotel room as a porn star remained locked in the room closet, a night that ended with Sheen’s arrest and admittance to a local hospital.

According to an insider snoop:

“Many of the big New York hotels don’t want the drama. He is now looking at renting a private residence.”

Also being into taken into consideration is the lack of smoking available at New York hotels:

“The real issue is finding him a hotel that allows smoking. He has to be able to smoke. And it’s hard to find a place that will accommodate him, plus his entourage that will be more than 30, including the lighting people and of course the goddesses.”
