While the Shrek series of movies may be done, that doesn’t mean we were never going to see characters from the popular series again and now we have a first look at Puss in Boots, a spinoff from last years blockbuster Shrek Ever After movie.
MSN grabbed a first look at the movie which features the feline voiced by Antonio Banderas. In true Puss In Boots fashion he can be seen wowing the ladies with his swordplay, riding a horse standing up and using stunning moves to show off his prowess.
Unfortunately this first look trailer doesn’t really tell us a whole bunch about the storyline for the upcoming movie. What we do know is that Humpty Dumpty (voiced by Zach Galifianakis) teams up with Puss In Boots to steal the goose that lays the golden eggs.
Also featured in the movie is Salma Hayek who voices Kitty Softpaws.
Here’s the first look trailer:
Puss In Boots hits theaters later this year.

Charlie Sheen hasn’t been looking so great lately, from his drug induced nights to his crazy talk during interviews and now via his Ustream podcast, many people believe he could end up in the city morgue just as fast as he was fired from Two and a Half Men and it’s for that reason that many news agencies have already written the obituaries they will post the moment Sheen kicks the bucket.
From Reuters to The Associated Press many top news agencies are rumored to have In Memoriam articles about Sheen’s life sitting on the back burner, waiting for immediate publication.
It should be noted that this isn’t a new practice, when Britney Spears went insane for a while back in 2008, The Associate Press had her In Memoriam and obituaries written and ready to go. While the 1990′s saw various agencies preparing an endless cycle of Elizabeth Taylor In Memoriam articles.
According to a CBS insider:
“No one is wishing the worst but as a news organization for us not to be prepared for one of the biggest stories in a long time would be unprofessional.â€
Heck even the team at Warner Bros. tried to reach out to Charlie Sheen’s legal team to get him the help he needs:
“..Focus your energies on what no one so far has been able to do: get your client the sustained, rigorous and effective treatment he so urgently needs,†the WB wrote in its plea. “It is clear that [Sheen] has no intention of agreeing to the intensive evaluation and treatment that his condition requires. It is also clear he does not believe he has a problem and that he will continue to conduct himself in a destructive manner.â€

Waka Flocka is naked, but unlike Kanye West, he wasn’t sending pictures of himself to various girls, instead choosing to pose for a new PETA campaign called “Ink, Not Mink” and after one second of looking at his picture it’s easy to see why this tattooed rapper was chosen.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), began to “Ink, Not Mink” campaign with several other stars, including Taraji P. Henderson and Chad Ochocinco in nude pictorials before moving onto Waka Flocka.
As you can see in the picture (shown above), Waka is wearing nothing but a heavy chain to cover his “man parts” while the photograph is well shot by noted celebrity photographer Robert Sebree.
In a public statement Waka said:
“Understand where that fox fur came from before you spend $1,000…someone got their head beat in and electrocuted,†and “Understand what you buy, instead of just going off fashion and what it looks like—that’s what I’d tell my community.â€
The rapper also called animals that work in circuses wrong, stating, “I don’t agree with that at all. That shit is whack.â€
Okay maybe he’s not the most elegant speaker, but his message and that of PETA is pretty clear, whether or not you agree with all their messages or not.

Charlie Sheen will talk for the first time since his firing from “Two and a Half Men” tonight when he hosts a LIVE CHAT with fans during “Sheen’s Korner” on UStream.
UPDATE – Well, Sheen didn’t chat after all.
What he DID do at 10:00 p.m. ET was air a brief montage of movie clips, followed by a blistering, bizarre ten-minute attack on his “unwanted guest list,” including “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre and CBS president Les Moonves.

“Gwyneth Paltrow has signed her first-ever record deal,” reports AOL Music.
According to the site, Paltrow, who showed off her musical talents this year in the movie Country Strong and on “Glee,” has “signed a contract worth approximately $900,000″ with Atlantic Records.
Not exactly.
A rep for Paltrow confirms to Gossip Cop that “no deal is done with any record company yet.”
The operative word is “yet.”
Stay tuned.

Because fantasyland HollywoodLife would rather sensationalize than report, the site has opted in recent days to portray Justin Bieber as some kind of public menace who’s spiraling out of control.
Today the site ups the ante by identifying a possible reason for the emergence of Big Bad Bieber – his new girlfriend Selena Gomez.
(Because why throw just one teenager under the bus when you can attack two?)
According to HollywoodLife, Bieber’s period of “acting out” coincides with Gomez’s arrival in the Biebersphere. The site asks, “Has the pressure of his high profile relationship become too much for him to handle?”
Well, let’s take a look at some examples of Bieber’s “escalating” so-called “bad behavior” during this time.
As everyone knows, Bieber recently gave paparazzi the middle finger and pushed away another photographer’s camera while he and Gomez were followed inside a 7-11 store.
Were these the 17-year-old’s finest moments? No.
But Bieber’s thousand positive interactions with fans and photographers – both before and since Gomez entered the picture – are conveniently swept under the rug to make room for HollywoodLife’s theories.
What’s even more ludicrous, though, is how the site twists itself into a pretzel trying to come up with any additional instances of a “changed” Bieber.
HollywoodLife wonders aloud whether Bieber’s “violent choreography” during his British tour is an indicator of “pent up aggression.” Then the site calls out Bieber for a recent tweet that fooled fans into thinking he and his guitarist Dan Kanter were at odds, scolding, “Don’t mess with the hand that feeds you Bieber!”
A rational observer would look at Bieber’s Twitter shenanigans as harmless and in keeping with his long-standing reputation for pranks.
And linking the image of Bieber’s choreographed on-stage kick (pictured above) to the words “Is Selena to Blame?” is just beyond ridiculous.
But not to Hollywoodlife!
HollywoodLife sees trouble for bad boy Biebs!
Sigh.
It seems to Gossip Cop like Bieber is just an overworked but good-natured young man whose rare flashes of irritation with obnoxious paparazzo pursuers HollywoodLife twists into evidence that he’s fundamentally changed as a person.
HollywoodLife paints a picture in which Bieber’s relationship with Gomez is turning him into Charlie Sheen, Jr.
To borrow a Sheenism, we think the site is just “trolling” for controversy.

“Cast members on Two and a Half Men are being told to remain ‘on hold’ for shooting – because execs want the sitcom to come back with Charlie Sheen at the helm!” writes HollywoodLife, which couldn’t get a story “right” if we spotted them the R-I-G-H and even T.
According to the half-baked blog, “Sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively the show is making too much money for all parties involved for it to be cancelled, so CBS and Warner Bros. (sic) termination of his contract is only a tactical maneuver to get Charlie back!”
Uh…
NO!
There isn’t any “tactical maneuver to get Charlie back” nor do “execs want the sitcom to come back with Charlie Sheen at the helm!” as HollywoodLife claims.
Warner Bros. wanted him out.
A rep for the studio reiterated to Gossip Cop that Warner Bros.’ stand was, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men’ effective immediately.”
Perhaps HollywoodLife’s “tactical maneuver” of continually getting stories wrong is working – Gossip Cop keeps returning to correct them.

Bill Clinton is apparently a big fan of spy novels.
The former president has written a preface for Thomas Caplan’s upcoming novel, The Spy Who Jumped Off The Screen.
The book is about a movie star and former operative who tries to prevent nuclear bombs from getting into the wrong hands.
Clinton hails the thriller as a “stylish, involving, utterly contemporary puzzle.”
The novel is set to come out in early 2012.
Does Clinton’s recommendation make you want to read the book?
