Pete Wentz is taking his soon-to-be ex-wife Ashlee Simpson to court for joint custody of their two-year-old son Bronx.
When Simpson filed for divorce from Wentz on February 9, Simpson requested primary physical custody and joint legal custody of their son, but now Wentz wants joint physical custody, according to papers filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Lindsay Lohan will reportedly sue the Kamofie & Company jewelry store for selling surveillance tape of the actress without her permission.
The star reportedly claims the boutique had no right to profit from her image.
Kamofie & Company reportedly made $40,000 for selling the tape to Entertainment Tonight for one week of exclusive use. When other media outlets pick up the footage after that period, the store stands to make even more money.
The store maintains that it had no choice but to sell the tape.
“We regret to hear there is trepidation by Miss Lohan in connection with the video,” a rep for Kamofie & Company tells TMZ.
“We hope that everyone understands that this is beyond our control, the flood of requests to see this video were simply too overwhelming. It was truly necessary to put it out.”
“Beyond our control” – really?

Carrie Ann Inaba of “Dancing with the Stars” is NOT engaged, despite a slew of reports.
Among the worst examples of these stories came from Examiner.com. According to the site, “‘Dancing with the Stars’ judge, Carrie Ann Inaba told Us Magazine that she’s engaged to accountant Jesse Sloane.”
(1) Inaba never spoke to Us about getting engaged.
(2) Inaba’s boyfriend’s name is Jesse Sloan, not Sloane.
(3) Inaba gave an interview to Prevention magazine in which she said she and Sloan are “planning a summer wedding on the beach… We want everyone to jump in the water with us after our vows.” She didn’t say they were currently engaged or which summer that would be.
Inaba has even taken to Twitter now to note, “Thank you all for your love and support on my engagement. So exciting to hear that I’m engaged. Why I am the last to know? Lol!”
She added, “For, now, I”m not ‘Jesse’s Mrs. to be’, I”m still just ‘Jesse’s Girl’. :)”
Maybe places like Examiner should exam how they report stories.

Michaele Salahi – better known as the “White House Crasher” – has been kicked off “Celebrity Rehab,” Gossip Cop confirms.
The “Real Housewives of D.C.” star was tossed because “she had no addiction problem,” a source involved in the production tells us, adding, “she came in for the money!”
Our impeccable insider also notes that Salahi’s husband, Tareq, “drove her and [everyone with the show] crazy,” and didn’t sign a consent form, meaning he couldn’t appear on the program.
“He caused mayhem for her and ‘Celeb Rehab,’” says our source.

After filing for divorce last month, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz now seem to be at odds about the custody of their son. In the papers originally filed with the divorce, Simpson asked for sole custody of 2-year-old Bronx Mowgli with visitation for Wentz. However, Wentz filed a response Tuesday with the Los Angeles Superior Court requesting joint custody.
This isn’t the only disagreement the former couple is having. Wentz is also asking that both parties pay legal fees separately. Simpson had originally asked that he pay all the fees.
They released a statement soon after separating last month, claiming that their main focus was Bronx’s care.
“We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority.”
It’s not unreasonable for Pete to ask for shared custody of his son. He just wants fair court proceedings and the right to take care of his child. For Bronx’s sake, hopefully the battle doesn’t get too ugly.
