Rixton lead singer Jake Roche got engaged onstage to Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson on Sunday at Manchester Arena, where Ed Sheeran was performing. The young couple has been dating for a year. See the photo below.
At one point in the concert, the “Me And My Broken Heart” singer had Nelson come onstage, where he dropped down to one knee and surprised the Little Mix singer by asking her to marry him. Nelson said, “Yes,” as a beaming Sheeran looked on. Shortly after, Roche shared a photo on Instagram of the proposal, along with the caption, “A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life.”
On the Little Mix official Instagram account, Nelson posted, “I cannot believe what has just happened! The most surreal moment of my life and everyone that I love most was there to share it with us! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world rite now literally cannot stop crying! Future Mrs Roche.”
It’s unclear whether Nelson will be the first member of Little Mix to get married. As Gossip Cop has previously reported, her fellow band member Perrie Edwards is engaged to Zayn Malik.

Disney and Marvel‘s Ant-Man and R-rated rom-com Trainwreck both had solid performances at the box office on Friday night!

The newest Marvel superhero’s big screen debut did better than most over the weekend, and earned about $ 22.6 million on Friday. That means it is projected to make about $ 60 million its opening weekend — expecting to knock out those pesky Minions from the No. 1 spot!
Trainwreck is anything but that, both critically and financially! The Judd Apatow directed film grossed $ 10.7 million on Friday, putting it on track to be just shy of the $ 30 million mark its opening weekend!
These box office successes prove that it’s a great time for women in comedy and insects in action!

Aaaand… the other shoe continues to drop.
The New York Times just released a deposition of a ten-year-old court case against comedian Bill Cosby, and it paints the funnyman in a very scary light.

The almost 1,000-page transcript, released Saturday night, provides more detail into Cosby’s pursuit of what he called “rendezvous” with women over the past few decades. In it, Cosby provides specific details about his calculated pursuit of Andrea Constand, the woman in question in this particular deposition who alleged being drugged and molested by Cosby.
This deposition came out in the first place when a federal judge unsealed a memorandum on Constand’s 2006 case two weeks ago. That memorandum contained portions of the larger deposition, which the New York Times eventually obtained in full through a court reporting service.
According to the Times, Cosby was a smooth operator, at least with Constand:
“Early on in his courtship, he arranged an intimate meal alone with her at his Pennsylvania home, complete with Cognac, dimmed lights and a fire, he said. At one point he led her to his back porch, out of sight from his chef. ‘I take her hair and I pull it back and I have her face like this,’ he said [in the deposition]. ‘And I’m talking to her …And I talked to her about relaxing, being strong. And I said to her, come in, meaning her body.'”
Cosby claimed the two didn’t have sex at that moment, apparently because he didn’t want the women he pursued to fall in love with him (!):
“Mr. Cosby said he tended to refrain from intercourse because he did not want women to fall in love with him. To him, he said, the act of sexual intercourse ‘is something that I feel the woman will succumb to more of a romance and more of a feeling, not love, but it’s deeper than a playful situation.’ As far as he and Ms. Constand went, he said, they were ‘playing sex, we’re playing, petting, we’re playing.'”
Yet several years later, things changed one night at his home when Constand felt stressed:
“Mr. Cosby said he gave her one and a half tablets of Benadryl to relieve stress, they kissed and had sexual contact. Her lawyer said she believed it was a much more powerful drug. Some time later, after Ms. Constand had moved home to Canada, Mr. Cosby spoke with Ms. Constand’s mother on the telephone. The mother, he said, was upset about what her daughter said Mr. Cosby had done, describing the experience as ‘a mother’s nightmare.'”
Cosby turned the sex back on Constand, alleging that since she had an orgasm, it was conensual sex — which is crazy.

Then, concerned she’d still get the wrong idea about it, he paid her off anyways:
“During the call, Mr. Cosby told the deposing lawyers, he wanted Ms. Constand to tell her mother ‘about the orgasm’ so that she would realize it was consensual. ‘Tell your mother about the orgasm. Tell your mother how we talked,’ he said he remembered thinking. Subsequently, concerned that Ms. Constand and her mother might seek to embarrass him, he said he offered to help pay for Ms. Constand’s further education.”
Yikes!!!
The deposition goes on to discuss how Cosby hid the extramarital sex from his wife, Camille, as well as more sexual partners he had in cities across the country.

Ronda Rousey is on a roll!
“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” says Ronda. “I’d like to see you pretend to not know who I am now.”
The MMA champ is obviously proud of her win for the “Best Fighter of the Year” award, especially because of the fact that she beat Mayweather for the title.
Ronda’s statement alludes to Floyd’s interview a year ago, where he said he didn’t know who she was when asked if Rousey could beat him in the ring.
The boxer defends, “I apologize because I didn’t know. I’m used to watching football and basketball. I’m not really into boxing like that.”
Watch out, Mayweather!

Lady Luck is smiling lately at Taylor Swift. Just recently, her BF Calvin Harris opened up on KISS FM UK about how things are “going absolutely fantastic” between them.
“It’s not even a case of ticking all the boxes. It’s like, there’s boxes I didn’t know existed which she ticks. It’s really ridiculous. But yeah she does an incredible BBQ. And she’s genuinely an incredible cook, and human being.” AWW!
Though the two are very busy with their own music careers, Harris explains that they’re working around the hectic scheds. He goes, “I guess the luxury is we can both travel very easily. I think that’s a reason that it works so, so well. It’s really not hard to see each other on a really regular basis.”

Donald Trump is the latest celebrity to weigh in on Bill Cosby. But unlike most stars, he’s doing it as candidate for president of the United States.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Cosby has been embroiled in a sex scandal since last fall. Around 50 women have come forward to accuse the comedy legend of sexual assault, with a number alleging he would drug them and then commit rape. Due to statues of limitations, Cosby has not been charged with any crimes.
The comedian has also denied the allegations through his attorney and publicist, but a damning deposition from a 2005 civil suit recently went public. In the decade-old legal papers, Cosby admitted to buying Quaaludes for the purposes of drugging women. In the wake of the unsealed testimony, backlash against Cosby has only grown stronger, with some calling for his Presidential Medal of Freedom to be revoked.
Trump, who declared his candidacy for the 2016 election last month, was asked about the situation with Cosby during a 77 WABC radio interview set to be broadcast on Sunday. He reportedly stated, “Well, I think he’s guilty as hell. I mean, he’s looking guilty, and last week’s event was very bad for him, where they had those documents unsealed.”
The mogul insisted he’s “never been a fan” of Cosby, calling him “a highly overrated guy, both in talent and in many other ways.” As for the former sitcom star’s Medal of Freedom, Trump reportedly said, “I don’t know if you can take away a medal or not. It’s not the most important thing. But I would say, if you can, take it away.”
As Gossip Cop noted earlier this week, President Obama confirmed that there is no “mechanism” in place to take such action, as it’s never been done before in the history of the honor. And while he declined to get into specifics about Cosby, he did make clear that he has “no tolerance for rape.”
Interestingly, Trump’s 77 WABC interview was conducted by Rita Cosby, who, incidentally, is NOT related to the controversial star. Tell us what you think of Trump’s take on the scandal below.

As Gossip Cop confirmed earlier this week, Tomlinson is set to be a dad with Briana Jungwirth, who is pregnant with their child. One Direction fans have not taken the news well, with many expressing shock and even disappointment on social media. A number of Directioners are also angry with Tomlinson for not personally addressing the development.
Hall, who has no actual connection to the band, filmed a video for Funny or Die in which she pretends to be one of those devastated fans. In the clip, the London-born actress appears on the verge of tears as she processes her emotions about Tomlinson becoming a father. Hall begins, “He’s going to be a dad. That means he had sex with someone, and it wasn’t any of us.”
“You can’t be in a boy band if you’re a dad,” says Hall, wondering if she, too, will have to call Tomlinson “dad.” The movie star becomes emotional saying, “Louis will always be a part of the band, and now his baby will be part of the band, too.” Hall later realizes that if Jungwirth gives birth to a son, there could be a “baby boy band.”
“Maybe the baby can replace Zayn,” Hall suggests, before quickly correcting herself, “No one can replace Zayn.” She goes on to say, “I’m going to be honest. I really wanted that Larry thing to be true. I don’t think there’s any shame in that. Louis and Harry a couple, I think that’s hot. They should still do that if they’re curious.”
The clip ends with Hall drawing on a One Direction poster, in which she has her face replaying Zayn Malik. The art work she adds? A baby in her stomach, of course. And this isn’t the first time Funny or Die has taken One Direction fan comments and turned them into a spoof.
As Gossip Cop reported, the site released a video in late March in which Billy Zane pretended to think all the tweets about Malik (in the wake of his departure from the group) were about him. Check out the new sketch below, and tell us what you think.

What the what — no more Mindy and Danny?! Nope! Gordon-Levitt will be portraying Matt, a smooth reality TV producer for Bravo, who sounds just perfect for the lovely Ms. Lahiri.
This news makes it so hard to wait, but wait we must! Twenty-six new episodes of The Mindy Project will drop on Hulu later this year. Hurry up and get here, already!
