Madonna and Sean Penn are NOT “getting married again,” despite a speculative and, frankly, mean-spirited report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story, which seeks to paint both stars in the worst light possible.
The pieces comes from Star, which announces the “return of the poison Penns.” Alongside old article headlines about their former relationship, the magazine recounts Madonna and Penn’s four year-marriage in cruel detail, babbling that “anyone half-awake in the 1980s knows that things didn’t work out so well for Sean and Madge the first time around.” There’s references to “volatile” behavior, “explosive fights,” and Penn’s alleged spousal abuse, even though Madonna categorically denied such allegations in a recent legal document.
And all of this is done so the tabloid can question Madonna and Penn’s supposed decision to get back together, and even blame the alleged reunion for why the singer’s son Rocco now wants to live with his father Guy Ritchie. “Rocco knows the stories about Sean,” says a so-called “insider,” asking, “What kid would want to be around when his mom repeats the worst mistakes of her past?”
Of course, the only “proof” the outlet has that the “Penns” are back on is Madonna’s appearance with her children at the actor’s Help Haiti Home fundraiser earlier this month. An alleged “eyewitness” is quoted as saying, “It was like a time warp. Except for the wrinkles and a few gray hairs, it could have been 1986. Their connection was so obvious, and they were so happy I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if they got married again.”
Well, this supposed spy shouldn’t go placing any bets. Madonna and Penn will most definitely NOT be walking down the aisle again anytime soon, at least not with each other. As Gossip Cop has already exclusively reported, the former spouses are NOT dating again, much less on the road to retying the knot. We’ve been told Madonna and Penn simply remain supportive of each other’s endeavors, a concept Star clearly knows little about.
