Chyna’s brain will be donated to science for CTE research, according to the late star’s manager.

As Gossip Cop reported, Chyna was found dead in her home on Wednesday at age 45. Officials have since indicated she likely died at least a day before her body was discovered. Though she previously battled drug addiction, no cause of death has been released.

But manager Anthony Anzaldo is now questioning whether Chyna’s years of wrestling contributed to her passing. “We want to donate her brain. We want to know what made Chyna tick,” he tells the New York Daily News. His hope is that her brain will be studied by Dr. Bennet Omalu, the doctor who discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy, better known as CTE.

Omalu’s work was depicted last year in the movie Concussion, starring Will Smith. The doctor uncovered the disease, in which repetitive head trauma causes degenerative effects in the neurological system, by studying football players. In November, Katie Lee Gifford revealed that an autopsy showed her late husband, famed footballer Frank Gifford, had been unknowingly living with CTE.

Anzaldo says he and Chyna were previously approached to have her brain studied as part of a potential lawsuit against the WWE. While he says he is not “interested” in the litigious aspect of the study, he would like her brain examined. “My hope is that we can do it,” he says. “I’m in the process of getting the permission to speak on behalf of family to tell the coroner it’s okay to release it.”

The manager adds, “I’ve been told [Dr. Omalu] is calling the medical examiner to let them know the plan, so they’ll be cautious with her brain. We’re not interested in the lawsuit at all. We’re just looking for [the doctors] to give us everything they can get.”

Chyna was filming a documentary at the time of her death, and Anzaldo says cameras captured him arriving at her home this week, unaware she was dead. He says the plan is still to move forward with the film, noting, “Now we’ll hopefully show the brain getting examined and what the doctor has to say about that. It will be done in a respectful way.”

Anzaldo maintains he does know how his client died. “My only solace is that she obviously died in her sleep with no pain. She was alive one second and dead the next,” he tells the newspaper. Chyna is pictured above in October 2015.

He was truly a beloved soul.

On Thursday, Prince was found unconscious in his elevator, as paramedics were unable to revive him. He was eventually pronounced dead that afternoon.

When news got out, several artists and politicians spoke highly of the Purple Rain artist’s legacy, for both his work in music and his humanitarian efforts.

On CNN, political commentator and friend Van Jones spoke about the 57-year-old’s life that only his inner circle knew about.

It turns out the legendary musician funded several charities including Yes We Code and Green For All that respectively gave underprivileged youth technical jobs in Silicon Valley, and provided homes with solar panels.

Last year, Prince famously performed in locations such as Chicago, New Orleans, and Baltimore. According to Jones, he did these concerts in order to help local organizations deal with police brutality and social injustice.

As a Jehovah’s Witness, the Minnesota-native did not allow himself to speak publicly about his good deeds. However, his actions spoke so much louder than words, and touched so many lives.

He will definitely be missed.

Footage has emerged of Jodie Sweetin sustaining her “Dancing with the Stars” injury. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Sweetin was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday after injuring her foot during rehearsal for this Monday’s show. The week’s theme is “Famous Dances Night,” and she and partner Keo Motsepe are doing a contemporary routine inspired by Pink’s “Try” music video. Apparently, part of the choreography has the actress balancing Motsepe on her.

But, as seen on in video broadcast on Friday’s “GMA,” the move didn’t go as planned in rehearsal, with Sweetin falling backward. As she collapsed, their combined weight was too much for her left foot. The “Fuller House” star is seen yelping in pain, and then sobbing. She was then taken to a hospital via ambulance.

Sweetin’s rep told Gossip Cop in a statement, “Earlier today, Jodie Sweetin injured her left foot during rehearsals for ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and she is awaiting her official diagnosis. She is in good spirits while she waits and Keo, along with her fiancee Justin Hodak, are by her side.”

The star herself has not publicly commented on the situation, but “GMA” anchor Amy Robach said Sweetin was now “resting her foot and taking things day by day.” It’s unclear if she will be able to dance next week. Check out the video below.

We just hope there isn’t a connection.

The 57-year-old recorded 39 studio albums, leaving behind a vast musical legacy. However, in one of his most famous songs Let’s Go Crazy, there are lyrics that coincidentally describe how he passed.

In the 1984 song, which was the second single off Purple Rain, the artist sings :

“And if de-elevator tries to bring you down/ Go crazy, punch a higher floor.”

It’s hard not to see how this lyric eerily recounts his last moments.

However, in a 1997 interview for VH1, Prince explained to Chris Rock that the line is a metaphor about the devil (elevator going down) and God (the higher floor).

Regardless, his influence in music will — without a doubt — last for generations to come.

As we reported, Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna shocked everyone when they revealed on Snapchat that they were actually “best friends” throughout their rumored feud.

This news is surprising given the KUWTK diva and the former stripper’s history. Let’s not forget that Ky is dating Chyna’s baby daddy.

However, one of the biggest feuds that went down between the two ladies is who had the better cooking segment!

Back in February, the famous pouter posted on her app a segment called “Cooking With Kylie”.

Almost immediately after she uploaded the clip, Rob Kardashian‘s fiancée SLAMMED the 18-year-old for stealing her idea “Cooking With Chyna”!

She uploaded another video on Snap where she quipped :

“I’m trying to figure out what I can create next for others to imitate. Any suggestions?”

Well now that they’re BFFs, Miz Jenner can resume her food videos WITHOUT drama!

On Thursday, she revealed that she’s filming a segment with sis Khloé Kardashian and friend Harry Hudson!

Maybe next time her and Chyna can shoot a clip!

This might turn a few heads!

For the first time in the 36 year history of Black Entertainment Television, the network commonly referred to as BET, there is going to be a show with a white lead!

The network announced at their upfront program that they added a reality show to their 2016-2017 lineup titled Gary Owen Family that follows comedian Gary Owen as he deals with life, work, and his family.

Even though Gary’s wife is black, and his children are interracial, his show marks the first time EVER that the network has had a show with a white lead.

Owen spoke at the BET’s upfront saying:

“This is the new face of the American family.”

The funnyman went on to joke:

“I feel like Ben Carson at the GOP debate.”

LOLz!

Of course this comes only a few months after Stacey Dash famously said she wanted to get rid of BET because it helps to support segregation.

Well regardless of what the motivation behind the decision was, we’re happy to see the network break their own mold and start to think outside the box!

How tragic.

On Thursday, it was revealed that WWE star Chyna was dead for at least a day before her body was discovered by her manager Anthony Anzaldo. Oh man.

Sources connected to law enforcement have relayed that there was no suicide note found at the scene. According to TMZ, the wrestling icon had been deceased for at least a “day or two” prior to her death being confirmed on Wednesday evening.

Not to mention, the last time the reality TV star had been in contact with anyone was on Sunday. It’s been said no illegal drugs were found in the late athlete’s home. And while three or four pill bottles have been collected as evidence, they weren’t anything out of the ordinary. In fact, the pill containers had not been emptied.

Well that’s good to hear. Unfortunately, neighbors have suggested Chyna suffered from an overdose since she had seemed “under the influence” lately.

Here’s hoping we discover the truth about what actually happened to Chyna sooner than later. R.I.P.

You’d think people would learn by now!

Not everyone always uses the best judgement when it comes to posting things online and Curt Schilling‘s decision making skills were apparently piss poor which resulted in him being fired from ESPN!

The former Major League pitcher and baseball analyst was reportedly fired by ESPN earlier this week over an extremely offensive anti-transgender post he made on Facebook.

Schilling supposedly shared:

Oh no. But the athlete’s disgustingness didn’t stop there as he also commented on the image saying:

Well obviously the network, which is owned by Disney, wasn’t too happy with Mr. Schilling once they became aware of his comments and released a statement:

“ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.”

That was certainly straight to the point. LOLz!

Though the former analyst has not released a statement of his own, he did write a blog post in which he addressed the situation saying:

“This is likely the easiest way to address all of you out there who are just dying to be offended so you can create some sort of faux cause to rally behind. Let’s make one thing clear right up front. If you get offended by ANYTHING in this post, that’s your fault, all yours. This latest brew ha ha (sic) is beyond hilarious. I didn’t post that ugly looking picture. I made a comment about the basic functionality of mens and womens restrooms, period.”

The former pitcher’s son, Grant Schilling has also stepped up to bat for his father as he took to Facebook to share:

Sadly, this isn’t the first time that Curt has gotten into trouble due to his social media antics. Just last year, ESPN suspended him for a month after he made a comment on Twitter that compared Muslims to Nazis. Oof!

Honestly, regardless of the analyst’s true feelings on the matter, we’re just glad to see that a major network like ESPN isn’t afraid to pull the trigger and fire an employee after sharing something so offensive!
