This absolutely touched our hearts!

On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton released her latest ad featuring Erica Smegielski, the daughter of deceased Sandy Hook Elementary School principal Dawn Hochsprung.

In the moving clip, Smegielski believes the former Secretary of State is the only candidate who can reform gun laws.

She said:

“No more families should have to go through what we have. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate that has what it takes to take on the gun lobby. No one is fighting harder to reform our gun laws than Hillary.”

In fact, Clinton and Erica’s mother are both strong-willed and strong-minded women.

“She reminds me of my mother: she isn’t scared of anything. And that’s how I know she is the person who can actually make a difference.”

When the 68-year-old won the New York Primary Tuesday night, she dedicated the final portion of her speech to Erica.

“You know, like the mothers of Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin and so many others, Erica has turned her sorrow into a strategy and her mourning into a movement.”

Michael Strahan is trying his best to do damage control!

The NFL star turned TV personality pulled a fast one on Kelly Ripa after announcing he would be leaving Live for a full time job on Good Morning America on Tuesday.

And to make matters even more awkward, the 44-year-old hosted Wednesday’s show without his perky cohost — because Kelly was so livid she didn’t show up to work!

So instead, Strahan addressed his exit sitting alongside Ana Gasteyer, telling the audience:

“I couldn’t ask for better fans. On top of that, I’ve worked with incredible staff here. I’m always here, I’m always available to guest co-host if I get a call, because I consider myself to be a part of this family forever.”

Though the Fox NFL Sunday analyst still considers himself part of the Live family, we can’t say the same for Ripa — who reportedly won’t return to the show until Strahan leaves!

After a cringeworthy hour of a Ripa-less daytime entertainment, Strahan finally mentioned his cohost of four years at the end of the episode.

Noting that Ripa “truly changed” his life, the former athlete said:

“I really want to thank, of course, Kelly Ripa. Kelly welcomed me here and I learned so much from her. She has been an amazing influence on me, and this has truly changed my life to be here with her. The staff here is so talented. This show has not been around for 30 years by mistake. That is a very hard thing to do in any business, and it’s because of all the people who work here extremely hard. Kelly, I thank you and love you, and everyone else here at Live!”

That’s a sweet sentiment, but it doesn’t sound like it’s enough to mend this burned bridge!

Since superheroes are so popular these days, you’d think Lip Sync Battle would have had a face-off with some of Marvel‘s characters already!

Well even though we’re not getting any Avengers, Agent Carter‘s Hayley Atwell, and Clark Gregg from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are battling it out on this week’s LSB and it should be pretty epic if their Dubsmash contest is any indication!

The smell is so bad, his wife and young children are getting sick from the contact high!

To make matters worse, the plaintiff also says Eddie Cibrian‘s former mistress has obnoxiously loud parties, and doesn’t do a good job of cleaning up after her cat.

He is suing her and building management for rent and damages.

It’s April 20th, better known as 4/20 to pot smokers, so Gossip Cop is taking a look at some of the many celebrities who will probably celebrate the weed holiday. Check out the photo gallery below!

Now that twenty-three states and the District of Columbia currently have laws legalizing marijuana in some form, some stars are not shy about sharing their love for the drug on social media. Miley Cyrus might be one of the pot’s biggest proponents. The young star’s Instagram account is clouded with shots of the singer getting high. While in the press room at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, Cyrus lit up before talking to reporters and even passed her joint to members of the media.

In 2014, Wiz Khalifa, also an avid herb partaker, told Arsenio Hall that Cyrus smoked an “insane” amount of weed. “She’s just a ball of energy, you know what I mean? And she smokes a ton,” he explained. “Every five minutes she kept being like, ‘Wiz, you don’t have a joint rolled? What’s up’” Also in 2014, Cyrus opened up to Rolling Stone about her love for pot. “I think weed is the best drug on earth. One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon,” she shared at the time. Yes! A poop joke! Get ready for more, because on Monday night, RHOD was literally all about… poop. Like, that’s it. That’s all of it.

The ladies of the big D talked toilet topics all night in a new development even for the folks over at Bravo, and it’s AH-Mazing!!!

The women — including ring leader Brandi Redmond — attended the Mad Hatter’s Gala to benefit the Dallas Arboretum as part of the show, and being Brandi, uh, she decided to adorn her hat to the event in, um… we’re not really sure, OK?!

Neither were Tiffany Hendra and LeeAnne Locken, who wasted no time making fun of Miz Redmond for the look (below), starting with Miz Hendra:

“I’m not really sure what Brandi’s wearing. I think it has dog poo on it.”

What the… wait… looking at it again (above)… yeah, maybe she’s right!!!

From there, the charity part of the night was more or less forgotten, because the show fell into a disarray of poop jokes and puns.

Arboretum? Nah. More like ‘poop in the park,’ y’all!!

This all might stem from the fact that Brandi — unlike Tiffany, LeeAnne, or Cynthia Smoot — decided to make her own hat for the gala. That proved costly for the poor gal, who took sh*t from her frenemies all night long over her inneresting hat choice.

Of course, other things happened last night, too. Tiffany and her hubby Aaron, an Aussie musician, shopped for a mansion, while the poor woman just couldn’t hang back from the potty humor as she described their relationship:

“Did you know we’ve been married 11 years and never seen each other pee?”

Of course you haven’t, darling. You’re not Brandi!

Ha!!!

On Tuesday’s episode of The Real, music mogul Damon Dash opens up about the untimely death of his former girlfriend, Aaliyah.

In 2001, the singer died when her plane crashed in The Bahamas. According to an investigation, the twin-engine Cessna 402B was 700 pounds over its weight limit. Additionally, the pilot was not authorized to fly.

In the episode, host Jeannie Mai asks the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder if there was a chance he could be on that flight.

The 44-year-old said :

“Well, there is no chance that if I was there, we would have been on that plane. You know what I’m saying? So, it would have never happened that way.”

At the time, he was in New York to be with his son, and to take care of legal matters.

The entrepreneur says he strongly advised the Rock The Boat artist from going to The Bahamas, and would’ve made sure she flew on a safer plane.

“She told me she was going to the Bahamas and I was against it like, “Yo, don’t go.” And then down to the last, we had the Blackberry, down to the last Blackberry that we had, before she went there, she was like, “Yo, I don’t like that plane.” And I was like, “Don’t get on it.” And she was just like, “You know, I gotta do it.” You know, it was a complicated situation, but she had to go do that video. So you know if I was there, I would have made sure that that jet that was supposed to be for her, the g4, she would have been on that. I wouldn’t have got on that plane, you know what I’m saying? So it probably would have been different. But you know um, everything happens for a reason.”‘
