Will Smith shared a short but poignant tribute to Muhammad Ali on Saturday, just hours after the legendary boxer died. See photos below.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Ali passed away on Friday night of complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He was 74. Since the sad news broke, there’s been an outpouring of mourning among celebrities and sports stars. And Smith was one of the lucky people to share a personal connection with the famed athlete.

The actor starred as Ali in the critically-acclaimed 2001 biopic, Ali. Smith was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of the fighter during the 10 years between 1964 and 1974. During that time, Ali faced off with Sunny Liston, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman.

Smith trained extensively for the role, and now on Facebook, he shared an old photo of himself in the boxing ring with Ali. He wrote, “You shook up the World! My Mentor & My Friend. You changed my Life. Rest in Peace.” Smith also included the picture above, showing himself with Ali at a 2003 event celebrating the GOAT – Greatest Of All Time, A Tribute to Muhammad Ali book.

Ali’s funeral will be held next Friday in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. It is not known if Smith plans to attend. See his Facebook tribute below.

… A reconciliation is still possible.

How confusing is that?! After almost 7 months of dating, serial pillowtalker Zayn Malik and the gorg Gigi Hadid have reportedly called it quits, E! News confirms through sources.

The insider shares, “During her birthday they were fighting” and that they have “broken up and got back together a few times.”

However, another snitch divulges that “they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now.”

“Gigi is really sad about this, though,  and in a way would like to work it out.”

Hope everything turns out alright, whether they get back together or not.

What is going on this week?!

Oh no. We hope Muhammad Ali can pull through.

On Thursday, the boxing legend was checked in to a Phoenix-area hospital after suffering from respiratory issues. And while the 74-year-old’s rep had said he was alright and wouldn’t be in the medical facility for very long, it appears the ailing athlete isn’t actually doing that well.

According to NBC News, a well-informed source says the former heavyweight champ is in “grave condition.” Earlier, insiders had also said that the fighter’s longterm battle with Parkinson’s disease is complicating his condition.

During this tough time, the sports star’s daughter Laila Ali has taken to Facebook to share a sweet snap (above) of her famous father, and thank his fans for their support.

The 38-year-old posted a precious picture of Muhammad holding his granddaughter, Sydney, captioning the adorable image:

“I love this photo of my father and my daughter Sydney when she was a baby!

Thank for all the love and well wishes. I feel your love and appreciate it!!”

Her rep echoed that sentiment in a statement to Entertainment Tonight, saying:

“Laila’s number one priority is her father’s well-being. She truly appreciates the outpouring of love for her family, as she spends quality time with her dad.”

We’re glad Miz Ali is keeping her spirits up during this scary situation, because we can’t imagine what she must be going through right now.

Our thought are with Muhammad and his loved ones, and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Justin Bieber released his Justmoji app on Friday, which allows fans to download hundreds of emojis of the singer. See a photo gallery below!

Bieber’s emojis feature an animated version of the pop star with various expressions, outfits and styles, and also engaged in different activities. The app allows users to decorate their texts with Bieber, share stickers and also includes a meme maker so fans can personalize their messages.

A few of the Justmoji highlights include images of the singer holding up a sign that reads “No Photos,” breathing fire, covered with egg yolk, counting money, eating a drumstick and presenting a birthday cake. Some of the emojis also come along with messages such as “Sorry,” “Good Luck,” “LOL,” “Wait!” and “Nah.”

Bieber follows in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian, who launched the Kimoji app last December. The Kardashian-inspired emojis were so insanely popular that Apple’s app store couldn’t handle all of the downloads and the service crashed. It remains to be seen if Bieber’s line of emojis will have a similar effect.

The Justmoji app, which is designed for both the iPhone and iPad, is available exclusively on iTunes for $ 2.99. See a photo gallery below of a handful of the emojis that are included on Bieber’s app.

Ben Higgins running for the Colorado House of Representatives? The former “Bachelor” is exploring a possible bid in Denver for a seat in the state legislature. The handsome 28-year-old Republican has even set up a website, BenHigginsForColorado.com, which notes he wants to “make a positive impact on his local community.”

Higgins, who gave Lauren B. (Bushnell) the final rose in last season’s “Bachelor,” has also been consulting with local politicians about running against the incumbent, Democrat Dan Pabon. Rep. Pabon’s political future came to a screeching halt in March when he was arrested in Denver on St. Patrick’s Day for suspicion of driving under the influence. The politician, who failed a field sobriety test, ironically sponsored a drunk driving bill that has those convicted of the crime appearing before a victim impact panel.

While Republicans in the 4th District already drafted a man named Willie Pinkston to oppose Rep. Pabon, the local businessman said he would drop out of the race to make way for Higgins to run. Pinkston told The Colorado Independent that he fully supports Higgins, who he believes will benefit from his “name recognition.” Higgins, who is involved in various charities, said in a statement, “Whatever lies ahead, love, grace, and hope are ideals that guide my life. I will take them with me into my next adventure.”

That’s what friends squad members are for!

As we reported, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik called it quits the day AFTER word broke out that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were also dunzo!

However, friendship is not! It turns out the BFFs are relying on each other for support during this heartbreaking time!

According to a source :

“Gigi and Taylor are actually confiding in each other as best friends during this time… They can really relate.”

We’re not surprised the supermodel and the singer are consoling each other. While Miz Hadid appeared in TayTay’s Bad Blood music video, the Shake It Off musician attended her 21st birthday party in April.

Just when everyone thought that Taylor Swift finally found true romance, the news of their recent break-up had us all tumbling down!

However, according to E! News‘ source, her split from Calvin Harris (who’s Adam Wiles in real life) is a tad bit different from her previous heartbreaks.

“Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them [sic]… It was all done in a very mature fashion.”

The source clarifies, though, that there “were no other women involved with Adam. He did not cheat on her at all. Just not a good match.”

Big sigh.

On Wednesday, Gwen Stefani shut down rumors that she and Blake Shelton had plans to head to the altar sometime soon. Bummer!

During her phone interview with 94.7 Fresh FM‘s The Tommy Show, the A-lister clarified:

“Let’s just take it one day at a time. Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”

In case you forgot, reports began circulating recently that The Voice judges had marriage on the brain as they constantly talked about their “future” nuptials. Not to mention, it’s also been said the country crooner and the No Doubt singer are eager to have a kiddo together too!

Nonetheless, we think that’s all a bit of an exaggeration as Gwen added:

“Can you imagine the amount of gossip-y, weird stories people make up? To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control.”

LOLz! We can’t really blame her.

While the 46-year-old finds most of the rumors HIGHlarious, she does seem concerned that some people may think the gossip is real. Miz Stefani concluded:

“The best part about it is it’s hilarious; the worst part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff like that is what’s funny.”
