It’s the ultimate 90’s fantasy… and will still remain as one.

Remember 2011’s NKOTBSB? Well, you may all heard the boy band’s genius plan to join Spice Girls in a concert tour… but it sadly isn’t happening anymore.

“From what I’ve heard, they want to do their own tour. I think it’s their 20th anniversary, were back in the studio making a brand new album, so everyone’s doing their own thing,” member A.J. McLean clarifies in an interview with 103.5 KTU’s Cubby & Carolina.

In an interview with ET, Scary Spice Mel B also hints at the cancellation, “We want the stage to ourselves if we’re going to do it! But, I love the Backstreet Boys. They’re great.”

Please reconsider, girls.

Sean Penn did not beg Charlize Theron for “another chance,” despite a tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “untrue.”

According to the National Enquirer, Penn “begged” Theron to get back together while the two promoted their film The Last Face at the Cannes Film Festival. The tabloid then segues into how it reported in 2014 that “Sean was caught in a red-hot cheating scandal after checking into West Hollywood’s swanky Sunset Tower Hotel with a mystery blonde.” But, as Gossip Cop reported at the time, the “mystery blonde” was, in fact, Theron. Reps for Penn and Theron even told the magazine it was the South African beauty with the actor in the hotel.

Regardless of that provably wrong claim, the Enquirer has a so-called “source” quoted as saying in unnaturally expository language, “Sean’s wandering eye and his notorious temper did him in… Charlize didn’t want to subject her family, which includes adopted daughter August, to his up-and-down moods.” No real person in an actual conversation would say, “which includes adopted daughter August.”

In any event, Gossip Cop looked into the claim that Penn “begged” Theron to take him back, and no one could confirm it. In fact, a source close to the actor tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s claim is entirely “untrue.”

Oh. Em. Gee!!!!

John Legend must have been in some kind of mood on Sunday morning, because he was NOT up for taking any of Piers Morgan‘s sh*t, and we are ALL better for it!!

The musician responded to one of Morgan’s annoying tweets about not wanting to be ‘sugar coated’ after death, and in doing so, set off a firestorm that still has Morgan reeling!

Deshauna Barber was crowned as the 2016 Miss USA winner on Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The beauty queen beat out 51 other contestants, including runner-up Chelsea Hardin of Hawaii, to win the crown. Barber now takes over the title from 2015 winner Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. The pageant began with whittling down the 52 contestants to the top 15 women. The 15 women who moved on to the swimsuit competition were Miss South Carolina, Miss Ohio, Miss Georgia, Miss Arizona, Miss Alabama, Miss West Virginia, Miss District Of Columbia, Miss California, Miss Missouri, Miss Connecticut, Miss Hawaii, South Dakota, Miss Arkansas, Miss Virginia, and Miss Oklahoma.

Next was the swimsuit competition. The remaining contestants were narrowed down to 10. Those who made the cut were Miss Virginia, Miss Alabama, Miss California, Miss Georgia, Miss Connecticut, Miss District of Columbia, Miss Missouri, Miss Arkansas, Miss South Dakota, and Miss Hawaii.

After the evening gown competition, the top five women who advanced to the interview part were Miss Georgia, Miss Hawaii, Miss District of Columbia, Miss Alabama, and Miss California. The women were asked about lessons to be learned from Muhammad Ali, women soldiers being allowed to fight in combat, voting rights, how to narrow the social and economic gap, and why vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Miss Hawaii avoided answering who she would vote for, and Miss California flubbed the economic gap question.

Following the interview portion, the three women left were Miss Georgia, Miss Hawaii, and Miss District of Columbia. But that wasn’t it. The last three had to answer one last question: “Define confidently beautiful.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the 65th annual Miss USA pageant was hosted by Julianne Hough and Terrence J. Jenkins. During the show there were performances by the Backstreet Boys, Nervo, and Chris Young. The judges for competition included Ali Landry, Miss USA 2008 Crystal Stewart, Harper’s Bazaar executive editor Laura Brown, fashion photographer Nigel Barker, and Yahoo Style editor Joe Zee.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are not rekindling their romance after divorcing, despite a late and wrong report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this inaccurate claim. Again, we’re told it’s “wrong.”

According to the repeatedly disproven National Enquirer, Duff and Comrie’s “signatures on their divorce docs are barely dry,” but the ex-spouses are “falling back in love.” After claiming the actress and the retired NHL player have been “spending tons more time together than spelled out in their joint custody agreement” over their 4-year-old son Luca, a so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Ironically, once the divorce was final, it was as if a huge burden had been lifted.” The magazine’s supposed “source” alleges that after Duff and Comrie recently had dinner together, the actress admitted “a romance is ready to rekindle… They’re giving love another go.”

Actually, the only one giving it another go is the Enquirer, which picked up a wrong report late in the game. A little more than a week ago, Gossip Cop exclusively busted a similarly untrue claim in In Touch, which falsely reported that Comrie and Duff “decided to put their differences aside,” and were going to announce in the “next few weeks” that they’ve reconciled.

It wasn’t true then, and it isn’t true now. A rep for Duff exclusively told Gossip Cop that all talk of them getting back together is “wrong.” The couple’s split was amicable, and when they’re spotted hanging out together, it’s simply because they’ve remained on good terms for Luca’s well-being.

Of course, this is not the first time Gossip Cop has debunked a Duff story in the supermarket tabloid. After she filed for divorce, the publication wrongly reported that the actress had angered Nicole Richie, who warned her husband’s ex-girfriend, “Stay away from my man!” The magazine falsely claimed Duff was trying to make “a play to win Joel back.” Much like that tall tale, the outlet’s latest story about Duff rekindling with Comrie is also untrue.

Celine Dion is not dating guitarist Kevin Girouard, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim. We’re told it’s “100 percent not true.”

According to a National Enquirer story, picked up by its equally discredited sister site RadarOnline, Dion has fallen for “young stud” guitarist Kevin Girouard, who was “handpicked by her late husband” Rene Angelil. The supermarket tabloid claims Angelil “managed every aspect of her career, including finding his own replacement for his beloved widow.” A so-called “eyewitness” tells the magazine that during Dion’s performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 17, “Kevin couldn’t take his eyes off Celine.” The mistaken “onlooker” alleges that Dion, in a tiny dress, was “definitely enjoying the attention,” and adds, “It was wonderful to see her looking so happy.”

The tabloid notes Girouard is now “permanently rooted in Las Vegas, where Dion lives full-time,” and claims an “insider” says “the two have developed a deep bond over their love of music.” The magazine then wrongly reports, “She continues to mourn Angelil, who managed her career since she was only 12 years old, but the spark between Dion and Girouard is undeniable.” The publication’s specious “insider” claims that because Angelil was ill for a long time, Dion thought a lot about “what life was going to be like for her when he was gone,” and is now “enjoying having someone young and energetic like Kevin around.” “She lights up when he’s in the room,” concludes the outlet’s questionable source.

Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and Dion is not dating Girouard. A source close to the singer exclusively tells us the claim is “100 percent not true.” Among the inaccuracies, we’re told, is that Angelil did not hire him Girouard. Dion’s new manager “Aldo hired him.” What’s more, says Gossip Cop impeccable source, Dion “only sees the band during shows, never during off time. Never has.”

We’re not entirely surprised the Enquirer got this wrong. Back in 2013, the tabloid reported Dion “ditched her [wedding] ring,” and was “unhappy” in her marriage. The reality is the magazine manufactured that entire story about marital strife, based on the singer not wearing her ring. But the truth is Dion never wears his ring while performing.

Cowabunga, dude! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is fighting to a first-place finish at the box office this weekend.

In the sequel to the 2014 TMNT film, the turtles set off on a new adventure against The Shredder, joined once more by Megan Fox and Will Arnett. The first movie debuted to more than $ 65 million less than two years ago, but the follow-up is on track for about half that. Still, a $ 33.7 million haul will easily beat the competition.

That includes X-Men: Apocalypse, which is being pushed into the number two spot after only one week at the top of the chart. It’s expected to take in $ 22.5 million for its second weekend. Meanwhile, the tear-jerker Me Before You, starring Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke, is currently over-performing for a projected $ 18.3 million to nab third.

Following in fourth may be Alice Through The Looking Glass, which is continuing to disappoint with a potential $ 11 million. Ticket sales of $ 9.2 million would put The Angry Birds Movie at number five. Captain America: Civil War is likely to land in sixth if it brings in $ 7.1 million.

And Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping, a new mockumentary from The Lonely Island, will probably open in seventh place with $ 4.6 million. Possibly rounding out the Top 10 are Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising ($ 4.6 million), The Jungle Book ($ 3.9 million) and The Nice Guys ($ 3.2 million). All figures are currently estimates, and Gossip Cop will have updates.

Richard Simmons was admitted to a hospital in El Lay on Friday night after exhibiting ‘bizarre’ behavior, according to reports.

According to sources that spoke to TMZ, Simmons was acting in ‘an unusually strange manner’ just before midnight when an unnamed person in his home in the Hollywood Hills decided it’d be best to call 911 for professional help.

Paramedics arrived and evaluated the fitness guru, deeming him in such a state as to need to visit a hospital visit for unnamed issues.

Simmons apparently agreed, and was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in El Lay, where he stayed at least for the evening — it is not certain whether he is still there, though.

Simmons, a notorious recluse who friends have alleged is being held hostage, has exhibited behavior deemed ‘out of character’ before.

Let’s just hope everything is OK now.

Blake Shelton is NOT “begging” Gwen Stefani to keep their relationship off social media, despite a report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.

According to In Touch, Shelton has become “more and more protective” of his “private” romance with Stefani. A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “He’s asked Gwen to stop posting so many selfies of them.” The magazine explains that Shelton “worries that their public displays of affection may turn off fans — or worse, cheapen their very real romance as they undergo in vitro fertilization to have a baby and discuss marriage.”

“He just wants to keep their special moments private. It’s the first time they’ve disagreed about something,” claims the supposed source. The tipster goes on to say Shelton “knows the public needs to be a part of their love story. He just doesn’t want to constantly share all these pictures of them kissing or hanging out backstage.”

In Touch gives the impression that Stefani is clingy and obsessed while Shelton has no interest in showing off their relationship. Neither characterization is accurate. The country superstar is not blindsided when the No Doubt front woman posts about their romance on social media.

And Shelton does it a fair amount himself. Just two days ago, he retweeted a video of Stefani performing, writing, “So cool.” Two days before that, he posted his girlfriend’s new “Misery” clip, exclaiming, “It’s here!!!!!!” That was after a tweet last week in which Shelton shared Stefani’s teaser, telling followers, “Sooooooooooo good!!!!”

Clearly, Shelton isn’t hiding his affections on social media. And the notion that he’s “begging” Stefani to start doing so is false. Gossip Cop is told the couple remains on the same page. In Touch, though, keeps filling its own pages with untrue details… like the baby girl the tabloid said Stefani and Shelton were expecting back in January.
