The Oscars happened a few month ago, but you can still find photos and commentary online about what all of your favorite celebrities were wearing. Some of the things that stand out among all of those gorgeous gowns are the gems that the movie stars wear around their necks, wrists, and on their fingers.

If you think that the gowns that they wear on the red carpet are expensive, you’ll be surprised to know that their jewelry is also well endowed. From diamonds to rubies and emeralds, you can find beauty on the necks of most of the women celebrities you love.

Who Was Most Notable?

The 2016 Oscars were home to some dazzling jewels. From Naomi Watts’ Bulgari diamond necklace to Olivia Wilde’s diamond choker., the diamonds truly stole the show. Many of them found on the ears and wrists of fashionable celebs as well, like Rachel McAdams shoulder length dangling diamond earrings and Julianne Moore’s diamond and white gold hoop-like earrings..

If diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend then you might wonder why so many celebrity women chose to don the diamonds this year.

Do They Own Their Gems?

One of the biggest questions that many people have when it comes to those thousands of dollar necklaces, earrings, and serpentine bracelets, like that worn by Olivia Munn, is whether or not those beautiful gems are owned by the celebrities that wear them. Usually they aren’t.

While the majority of movie stars can easily afford their own diamonds, when it comes to award shows, jewelry companies and designers want their pieces to be seen on celebrities and they loan out, and sometimes give, their pieces to the celebrities to wear. That means free advertisement in every fashion mag for a good month after the award show airs!

Are They Insured?

Imagine “borrowing” a piece of jewelry from a store that cost three-thousand dollars or more, and then having it break or get lost during a wardrobe change. That money would have to come out of the celebrities pocket, and even though it might just be pennies to them, it still looks bad. Jewelry makers and companies tend to require celebrities to have insurance that covers any loss or damage to the loaned jewels.

There is a whole process that celebrities go through for this use of gems on the red carpet. Sometimes a designer approaches them, and sometimes they approach a designer they like. They have to arrange pickup, have proof of insurance, and also plan a time to return the gems.

This seems to be a lot of work for someone that could outright buy any piece of jewelry they want, but it’s worth the press for both celebrity and jeweler.

America’s Got Talent brings out some phenomenally gifted kids, as we saw with teen opera singer Laura Breton in last week’s premiere.

But this little ukelele player might take the cake!

Seriously, once Grace VanderWaal starts singing her original song, you won’t BELIEVE a 12-year-old could reach that depth with her lyrics OR her voice!

And the judges agreed! They gave her a standing ovation AND the Golden Buzzer! Simon Cowell even called her “the next Taylor Swift!”

We think she sounds more like the next Regina Spektor, but we’re in either way!

This is definitely going to ruffle a few feathers!

Although Caitlyn Jenner has been a proud proponent of transgender rights, she is also a proud Republican — something that has made her polarizing figure in pop culture.

Recently, the I Am Cait star spoke with GQ UK about her political beliefs, where she acknowledges that her right-wing views seem contradictory to her LGBT advocacy.

While the athlete realizes Republicans haven’t been the most vocal supporters of trans rights, she is willing to forgive this fact because of their focus on the economy.

She said :

“I know that. I’m not a dummy. But I just think we need a more conservative approach, with limited government, limited taxes. I would like to see our country as the best place in the world to do business and right now it’s not.”

Does that mean she will back Donald Trump?!

“I just want to see how it all works out. I don’t want to make too many comments. I made a comment that I liked Ted Cruz and he – as far as trans issues go – is probably the worst one of the lot.”

So pretty much yes.

Although the interview took place before Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee, Caitlyn was always willing to help him with his presidential campaign.

“And if he gets there, Trump may need some help too! And I’m willing to help him out, OK? Whoever is the candidate, I will do my damnedest to have a meeting with him and talk to him about the issues that we are concerned about.”

On her show, the former KUWTK star made headlines when she said the businessman would be a better president for women’s issues than Hillary Clinton. Back in April, Cait even praised Trump for his stance on transgender bathroom rights.

JoJo Fletcher took the men to Pennsylvania, where she had one-on-one date, an explosive two-on-one-date, and a third date with 11 men, which got physical. By the end of the episode, four guys were sent home. Get the full recap below.

Tuesday’s special episode began with Chad telling the guys that as long as they don’t “push” him, he’ll be cool with them. When “The Bachelorette” left off on Monday, Chad had been warned by Chris Harrison that the other men were afraid he had ’roid rage. Before the show cut off, this season’s villain could be heard saying he was going to rip off the limbs of the other guys. But by the time Chad rejoined the other men in the new episode, he said wanted to get along with them.

Instead of a cocktail get-together, JoJo had a pool party, where the guys played around. But at one point, Evan’s nose began bleeding profusely. While JoJo jokingly asked Chad if he did it, Evan actually injured himself diving into the pool. JoJo then spent some alone time with Jordan making out. She also spoke to Derek, who told her the rest of the men were afraid around Chad and wanted her to send him home. Of course, Chad overheard it and later confronted Derek.

It was then time for the rose ceremony. Shockingly, Chad wasn’t eliminated. Instead, JoJo sent home Christian, a telecom consultant from L.A., electrical engineer Nick B. from Fort Lauderdale, and Ali, a Santa Monica bartender.

After that, JoJo took the guys to the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pittsburgh, and went on one-on-one date with Luke. The two took a dog sled, pulled by eight Huskies, into the woods, where they got amorous in a hot tub. That was followed by a romantic dinner, where he talked about his experiences and the lessons he learned from being a platoon leader in Afghanistan. But that wasn’t the end of their date. They went a Dan + Shay concert, where JoJo and Luke kissed and danced before the entire audience. Not surprisingly. Luke got a date rose.

Next, JoJo took 11 dudes on a date to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. On the not-so-intimate date were Chase, Daniel, Derek, Evan, Grant, James F., James Taylor, Jordan, Robby, Vinny and Wells. With the help of Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Keisel, and Hines Ward, the guys played an intense 5-on-5, with Jordan as the quarterback for both teams. But even before the game, things got physical during practice, and James Taylor split open his head. The winners got to hang out with JoJo, while the losers were sent home.

And for her final date of the show, JoJo went on a two-on-one hike with Alex and Chad. But before the date, Chad threatened Jordan, in front of all the others guys, saying he’d find him after the show and hurt him. While alone with Alex, he told her how Chad has repeatedly threatened to beat up the other guys. Incredibly, Chad told JoJo he’s not an “aggressive” guy. Ultimately, JoJo gave Alex the rose. And while Chad should have gone home from there, he dramatically returned to the hotel, where the other guys were celebrating his departure.

This is so sad.

On Monday, Kimbo Slice passed away at 42 years old, after being admitted to Florida’s Northwest Medical Center a few days earlier.

When we first learned of the MMA fighter’s untimely death, not much was known about how he died or why he was hospitalized in the first place.

But now, a new report given to the Broward County Medical Examiner‘s office revealed that the famed fighter was admitted to the medical facility on Friday for a liver mass and congestive heart failure.

Physicians even told the ailing athlete’s family that he needed a heart transplant.

The Bahamas native’s loved ones were reportedly gearing up to send him to a Cleveland clinic on Monday night for the procedure, but he sadly passed before he could be transported.

The report also explained that the late sports star had no history of drug use.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected during this tragic time.

Looks like Conrad Hilton will be the latest member of his family to spend some time behind bars!

On Monday, it was revealed that Paris Hilton‘s baby bro has been sentenced to two months in jail after he admitted to using drugs while on probation. Tsk, tsk!

U.S. Assistant Attorney Alexander Schwab confirmed:

“The underlying allegations that he admitted as being true concerned repeated drug use while on probation, including marijuana, synthetic cannabiniods and cocaine as well.”

Naughty boy!

In case you forgot, the wealthy 22-year-old was initially arrested back in February for smoking pot on an international flight, as well as for threatening his fellow passengers and the employees on the plane. The hotel heir ended up pleading guilty and was sentenced to three years probation and 750 hours of community service — oh, and he was ordered to receive treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues and had to undergo regular drug testing.

Unfortunately, this was not enough to keep Conrad out of trouble as he was arrested AGAIN when he violated a restraining order his ex Hunter Salomon had against him. Oh man!

According to Schwab, young Hilton has until Wednesday to surrender himself. Whoa.

On Monday, the KUWTK star wrote a blog entry on her website called “My Grocery Must-Haves” where she lists all of her favorite foods!

Inspired by sister Kendall Jenner, KoKo gave her millions of followers a glimpse into her fridge!

“I keep my fridge stocked because I want to make sure my guests have everything they’d ever want! I love going to the grocery store. The first thing I buy is fruit. I’m obsessed with sliced fruit, so I have to have a ton of fruit in the house or I will go ballistic. I like mangos, pears and bananas. Don’t fu*k with my fruit! I also have to have my Smartwater, bread and eggs, and almond milk is a must.”

But, the 31-year-old also indulges in sweets as well!

“I get Oreos and all that sh*t I need for my cookie jars, as well as maple honey turkey slices for meals and snacks. I bake a lot, so I always need flour.”

On Monday, AP reported that Hillary Clinton has enough delegates to become the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee for president! You go, girl!

Not only will she square off against Donald Trump in the November election, she is the first woman to headline a major U.S. political party!

However, the politician is downplaying the news. She wrote on Twitter :

According to her campaign manager Robby Mook:

“This is an important milestone, but there are six states that are voting Tuesday, with millions of people heading to the polls, and Hillary Clinton is working to earn every vote… We look forward to Tuesday night, when Hillary Clinton will clinch not only a win in the popular vote, but also the majority of pledged delegates.”

Clinton’s opponent Bernie Sanders refuses to concede, and believes the race is still on.
