HollywoodLife purports to know the “reason” why Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi split up, but it’s all made-up. Prior to the “Bachelor” stars announcing that they had called off their engagement, the outlet had no inkling whatsoever that they were going their separate ways. In fact, the clueless website declared mere weeks ago that they’re “not breaking up, not at all,” and that Grimaldi and Viall were “excited about their future together.”

For the uninitiated, this is what happens: After news breaks about a celebrity, HollywoodLies, as its nicknamed, goes into overdrive and starts cranking out one phony “exclusive” after another. Of course, if the often discredited outlet actually had solid sources, arguably they would have broken the breakup news in the first place. Wouldn’t their supposed sources have tipped them off that Viall and Grimaldi’s engagement was over?

Instead, after it was announced by reputable outlets that Viall and Grimaldi had split and called off their engagement, HollywoodLies suddenly came up out of nowhere with an “exclusive” about how they “never had a chance of actually making it work.” To back up its claim, the repeatedly disproven site quoted a seemingly fabricated and untraceable “source” as saying, “They are incredibly different… Nick is all about living in LA, being part of the ‘Bachelor’ scene and making a career in entertainment,” while Grimaldi “wasn’t going to be happy just being a pseudo celebrity in Hollywood.”

None of this, by the way, is news or exclusive. It’s common knowledge. Then, to bolster its premise, the blog’s highly suspect “source” further alleges the demise of the relationship was a result of the special education teacher missing being back at home because “she’s so incredibly close to her family in Montreal.” It should be noted, that issue was a major theme on the show and seen by millions of viewers. So, is the website’s super duper “source” basically anyone who watched the last season of “The Bachelor”?

In case you’re not fully convinced yet that HollywoodLies just makes up its some of its so-called exclusives, let’s examine another one published by the same site just a few weeks ago (below). Citing an unnamed “source” once again, the webloid swore up and down, “Nick and Vanessa are not breaking up, not at all.” What’s more, the same seemingly fictitious “source” added, “They just got a new place together in LA and they’re in the middle of moving in… They’re excited about their future together. Things are good.”

You know what’s not “good”? HollywoodLife’s reporting.

This season of American Horror Story: Roanoke was full of scares, format change-ups, and some of the most grotesque scenes in the show’s history.

But after nine episodes of twisted horrors, the scariest part of Wednesday night’s season finale was how it felt more like an episode of American Crime Story.

In the final hour, Ryan Murphy managed to jam in ANOTHER true crime docu-series, a journalistic special, and a ghost hunting show — all before throwing away the “found footage” gimmick in the final act, probably because they ran out of excuses to keep the fictional cameras rolling.

But after sitting through all the channel surfing, we finally found out who really survived the events of Roanoke‘s horror story!

The episode started on a Meta note with surreal footage of the My Roanoke Nightmare cast gathering at a Paleyfest panel, showing just how successful the first season of the horror reenactment series was.

Fans in the audience lose their sh*t over the survivors and actors of this show, with one smitten fan identifying with Lee (Adina Porter), who at that point was only suspected of murdering her ex-husband.

Not only is the scene a playful nod to the real life convention at which Murphy has long received fan worship, it also demonstrates just how big of a phenomenon My Roanoke Nightmare was before its “second season.”

After the events of Season 2 unfold, Lee is a polarizing figure — not surprising considering girl was caught on camera killing multiple people after confessing to murdering her ex.

The next part of the episode turns into a courtroom drama (suddenly we feel like we’re watching Season 2 of American Crime Story), as Lee’s legal team manages to cook up a winning defense: she went crazy from being tortured by the Polks and smoking their super dank weed.

After Lee is acquitted on all charges, the district attorney brings her BACK into court (ugh) on accusations she killed her ex-husband Mason.

Lee’s daughter Flora is brought to the stand and, under the instruction of Lee, is asked about her ghost friend Priscilla by the lawyer. Flora’s paranormal friendship discredits her story in the eyes of the jury, and Lee is once again acquitted — but still loses Flora to Mason’s protective family.

After the courtroom drama segment, we now witness the moment AHS fanatics have been waiting for all season: Sarah Paulson bringing back her Asylum character Lana Winters (her THIRD character this season), who is interviewing Lee in a live special a la 60 Minutes.

In this epic faceoff between the two flawed survivors, Lee explains she agreed to interview with Lana because they have a lot in common. Conveniently reminding viewers of Lana’s shady past, Lee notes the Season 2 survivor killed her son Bloody Face at the end of Asylum. (Why not just give us a “previously on”?)

Though even with those similarities, Lana doesn’t let Lee off the hook — and even accuses the murderer of kidnapping Flora once again, who apparently went missing an hour before the broadcast.

As Lee starts to rush out in search of her daughter, a vengeful Polk crashes the interview and shoots up the set. Thankfully, both Lana and Lee survive the encounter, because who wants to see either of these survivors die at the hands of a hillbilly cannibal?

Next, we channel surf to a ghost hunting show called Spirit Chasers, who happen to be investigating the Roanoke house that has now been closed to the public. The ghost hunters are joined by My Roanoke Nightmare star Ashley Gilbert (Leslie Jordan), who helps the team break into the spooky mansion… during the Blood Moon. Why? Because ratings, we guess?

As the team encounters a few spooky sights, they come across Lee (!?) who just so happens to have returned to the house to look for Flora. The team helps Lee despite her warning that the spirits are coming — because for some reason people still don’t believe that.

Clearly, they should have. As Lee searches for Flora, the investigators, Ashley, the cameramen, and even a few cops are killed by the dozens of random supernatural spirits haunting the mansion — but Lee is spared, and she finally finds Flora.

Flora reveals she’s been living in the woods with Priscilla for two weeks, and would rather stay there than go back home with her murderous mother. Not only does Flora refuse to go back with Lee, she straight up wants to die so she can stay with Priscilla and protect her from the Butcher forever.

In a last ditch effort to ensure her daughter’s safety, Lee strike up a counter-deal, offering to die on the property and take care of Priscilla herself so Flora won’t be the one living in Roanoke for eternity. Flora agrees, perhaps realizing she’ll probably make new friends at some point.

As the episode ends, Flora escapes the haunted residence to a hoard of police, as Lee lets Priscilla kill her in the exploding house — making the greatest sacrifice so her daughter could live.

It was a sweet ending to a bumpy roller coaster ride of a season that left us with some major motion sickness.

“Good Morning America” shared an exclusive clip on Friday of Taylor Swift’s new music video for her debut single, “Look What You Made Me Do.” Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Swift released “Look What You Made Me Do” at midnight on Friday. The track dropped one week after the star wiped all of her social media accounts, including her official website, leading many to believe Swift’s sixth album was imminent. Speculation began to swirl even further after the star posted a series of cryptic 10-second clips on her Twitter page, and when the third and final video was unveiled, it became clear that the footage was of a snake from head to tail. It was later revealed that the singer’s new album, titled Reputation, would be released November 10.

Joseph Khan, who directed four music videos from her 1989 record, retweeted the snake footage, hinting at another collaboration with the star. Shortly after Swift unveiled her new track, Khan retweeted the morning show’s announcement that they’re sharing a sneak peak of the video. He went on to share, “I am super excited to show you the official @taylorswift13 #LookWhatYouMadeMeDo video. Oh yes. Ohhhh yesssssssssssss,” followed by a dragon emoji. Of course, MTV later announced Swift’s new music video will premiere at the 2017 MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 27.

Since its release, fans have wondered if the song directly addresses her public feud with Kanye West. On the track, Swift sings, “I don’t like your little games/ I don’t like your tilted stage/ The role you made me play of the fool/ No, I don’t like you.” And at the end of the song, Swift seemingly references the conversation she had with the rapper in 2015 over his “Famous” lyrics, which Kim Kardashian later released on Snapchat. “I’m sorry the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now/ Why? Taylor Swift released a new song called “Look What You Made Me Do” at midnight on Friday. Listen to the single below!

The big reveal comes nearly a week after Swift wiped her social media profiles. Last Friday, all the posts, including her profile photo, were removed from the singer’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. In addition, her Tumblr and official website were cleaned out and left blank, too. That led many to believe Swift’s sixth album was imminent, especially since the big change coincided with the three-year anniversary of “Shake It Off,” which was released the same day she announced her fourth album, 1989, on August 18, 2014.

Fans, however, who expected something to drop at midnight on Saturday were left disappointed when nothing happened. Speculation continued to swirl over the weekend, and then reached a new level on Monday, when Swift posted a cryptic 10-second video on social media at 11 a.m. Eastern. The footage appeared to show what many likened to a snake or dragon tail. Joseph Kahn, the performer’s frequent video collaborated, retweeted the Twitter post with a smiley face. Then, shortly after 11:30 a.m., he added, “In 30 minutes, as a show of power, @taylorswift13 will blot out the sun.” That revived some theories that suggested Swift would release something to coincide with the solar eclipse.

Noon, though, came and went, at which point, Hahn wrote, “Guys please don’t look at the eclipse directly because of this tweet. Thanks.” And then a bit later: “People shouldn’t take my tweets literally, metaphorically, alliteratively, seriously, or ironically.” Alas, the video director was not, in fact, building up to a Monday release. On Tuesday, Swift shared another 10-second clip, which seemed to make it more obvious that the animal was indeed a snake. All doubt was erased on Wednesday when the next clip showed the snake opening its mouth wide, as if to take a bite out of the camera. And viewing all the footage side by side actually revealed that the clips connect, showing the snake from head to tail.

A short time later, Swift formally announced her plans: Her new album, titled Reputation, would be released November 10, with the first single dropped Thursday. Hours before what many thought was going to be the big moment, a countdown clock appeared on a new website with the URL reputationworldtour.com, which further stoked fan excitement. But at 11 a.m., the page refreshed to show a common Internet prank: Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” That’s right, Swifties were rickrolled. And so, more time passed, until midnight, when the song finally premiered.

We are SO looking forward to next year!

Celebrities are definitely not immune to awkward injuries and other mishaps. In fact, because of a lot of different types of stage routines, they are in more danger of slip and fall injuries than many other professionals would be. Lots of people like to humanize famous people that they admired, and relating to them concerning clumsiness can have a soothing effect on the mind.

A few well-known instances of celebrities joining the most graceful global award include Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Florence Welch. Katy Perry managed to enter herself and after party before she had a scheduled concert, whereas Justin Bieber and Florence Welch both injured themselves during performances. These aren’t necessarily things to laugh at or about, but they certainly are a great equalizer when it comes to feeling connected to your favorite artists.

When you injure yourself in a slip and fall accident, or have an event that causes personal injury, if it’s not your fault, you should probably call a lawyer. When a celebrity gets hurt tripping and falling, they have that same option, but in many cases, they choose private options. One of Katy Perry’s notable performances was when she had a flesh colored bandage around one of her legs. She had tripped and ended up having to go to the hospital because she needed stitches in her leg. Obviously, she was well enough that the show had to go on, but it was deathly a matter of speculation during her performance.

No one denies that Justin Bieber puts on a good show. However, one thing that can happen as you’re running around is that there are trip hazards present they can put a wrinkle in your day. Justin managed to trip on something that was on the stage during one of his performances and rolled his ankle quite badly. He managed to finish the performance, but he had to go to the hospital the next day to get a cast, which he was seen with for his next shows.

Florence Welch’s Big Jump

At a Coachella one year, Florence Welch decided she was going to be more active than usual and jumped off of the stage to get more interactive with the audience. Unfortunately, possibly because she was barefoot at the time, she managed to break her foot getting off of the stage. For the rest of Coachella, she had to sit on stools or otherwise keep away from standing too much to be able to continue her performances. Accidents happen, and even famous artists have to deal the consequences. You can put up as many safeguards as you want, but there’s always the chance that something is going to get in your way, or some part of their body is going to twist or impact something to create an injury.

A new report from HollywoodLife alleges Angelina Jolie “acted like a big kid” while on a shopping trip with her children in a toy store, but the outlet is simply playing with the truth. Gossip Cop can expose the webloid’s lies.

According to the often disproven website, the actress and her kids recently paid a visit to the “local toy store,” where Jolie “played around herself.” A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “Angelina came in on Sunday with the kids and wandered the aisles for a bit while she let the kids pick and choose which toys they wanted.” The alleged “eye witness” further contends, “The boys immediately made a beeline for the Legos and almighty Nerf Guns, calling dibs on the best ones,” adding, “[Jolie] was like a big kid herself as she played with many of the demo units and even built a couple of Lego structures.”

The site’s seemingly non-traceable insider goes on to purport, “[Jolie] was totally enjoying herself. She encouraged the kids to get things that were not only fun, but educational as well.” “They left with a few Lego sets, Leapfrog tablets, Hot Wheels and Nerf Guns to the tune of around $ 1,000 bucks. The kids were ecstatic as they left and looked to be setting up for an amazing play date,” concludes the dubious tipster.

But even the most casual Gossip Cop reader will be able to recognize HollywoodLife’s lack of reporting skills. Clearly, the entire article and its premise is based on paparazzi photos of Jolie and her children visiting the toy store. What’s more, if the site had actually researched into its story beforehand, it would have discovered that the shopping spree took place at the Toys R Us store in the Los Feliz section of L.A.

Notwithstanding the amount of falsehoods the webloid has previously posted, Gossip Cop investigated, and no one from the store could confirm the account given by HollywoodLies, as it’s known. Additionally, we’re further told that no one other than the cashier at the time of purchase would know how much Jolie spent, and members of staff would most assuredly not share that kind of information with the unreliable outlet.

Naturally, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has busted the untrustworthy website for manufacturing stories about Jolie. Earlier this month, we corrected the outlet for wrongly claiming Pitt and Jolie’s kids would “love for them to get back together” and call the divorce off. Much like that piece of fake news, this latest report is equally phony.

Black Widow, the actress’s character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has donned various red hairstyles throughout the superhero series. But a new article posted on OK!’s website claims Johansson refuses to color her mane for the third and fourth installments, which are currently filming back-to-back, because her hair been damaged due to dying it for years. A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “She’s dyed her hair for five films… It’s dry, brittle, and breaking from constantly switching between red and blonde.”

A recently released teaser poster for the third movie in the franchise, Avengers: Infinity War, shows that Johansson’s character has in fact traded in her signature red hair for a silver-blonde bob. Based on the actress’s new hairstyle, the outlet’s dubious insider says, “She’s had them write into the script a reason for her new look.”

The major problem with the tabloid’s story, however, is that Johansson never dyed her hair red for the Avengers films in the first place. Thanks to movie magic, the actress was provided with wigs to make it seem as if her hair was red. The special effects team working on this franchise has figured out ways to make it appear as if major cities are being destroyed by aliens, so they also managed to change Johansson’s hair color without dying it. Seeing as the actress has been rocking a super-short pixie cut for the past few years, her blonde bob in the next two Avengers films is yet another wig.

Regardless of the publication’s story being provably untrue, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively tells us Johansson didn’t refuse to dye her hair for the upcoming Avengers movies. We’re further assured the actress never demanded her character’s look be altered, and the magazine’s claim otherwise is entirely fabricated.

Celebrities are reacting to President Donald Trump’s rally speech in Phoenix on Tuesday, during which he railed against the “dishonest” media, which he claimed misrepresented his remarks about the bigotry and hatred in Charlottesville. He also touched on a number of other topics, including trade deals, Obamacare, North Korea and its leader Kim Jong-un, Arizona’s senators, and illegal immigrants. After Trump blamed the media for “fomenting divisions” and “trying to take away our history and our heritage,” a reference to the removal of statues of Confederate figures, George Takei wrote, “Trump in Phoenix: ‘They are trying to take away our history and our heritage.’ We all know the code he’s speaking. Disgraceful.” Meanwhile, Don Cheadle tweeted, “This man is a menace. Divider in Chief. Fear/hate mongering, shameful ‘leader.’” He included the hashtags “#ImpeachTrump” and “#PhoenixRally.” And Alyssa Milano taunted the president, “Oopsie! You forgot the ‘on many sides,’ @realDonaldTrump. #PhoenixRally.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson joked, “This #PhoenixRally is basically the equivalent of watching a baby splash around in a toddler pool.” In a series of tweets, John Cusack expressed that Trump is “clearly mentally ill & unfit- removed in a straight jacket or cuffs – he’ll defecate on stage at a rally next – who would be surprised?” He continued, “Really he’s foaming at the mouth,” and “he’s a blathering maniac. Its a matter of public safety to have him removed asap.” “Weekly reminder of normal vs. not normal. A President holding an election rally in his 1st 8 months explaining he isn’t racist is not normal,” added Josh Gad.

Rosie O’Donnell sent a number of profanity laced tweets, including “‘ON MANY SIDES – ON MANY SIDES’ trump – u cowardly muthaf**ker – a national disgrace – u liar – mueller is coming for u – u stupid s**t.” She further slammed, “trump u pathetic piece of human waste – god will never forgive u – neither will AMERICA – u lying sack of s**t – f**k u and ur paid crowd.” And Albert Brooks cracked, “Watching Donald Trump’s hour long rant against the news. I don’t say this lightly but this guy is mentally ill.”

Josh Groban wrote, “Trump just said with a straight face that his ‘movement’ has always been about loving everyone and inclusion.” He followed that up with another couple of messages that read, “Trump rally cheerers and chanters, you are pawns for his ego. He wants your cheers more than he wants to work for you. It isn’t about you…. He’s sick. This speech is insane. He’s insane.” Samantha Ronson reminded her followers, “You know you don’t have to watch, right? #NotMyPresident.” And Dan Rather tweeted, “This was Trump as candidate, uncaged, unscripted, unabashed, and frankly unhinged.” Gossip Cop will continue to update as more celebrities react to Trump’s rally speech in Phoenix.
