As we reported last week, Melania Trump finally got started in earnest on her cyber bullying initiative on Tuesday.
In a White House State Dining Room meeting, the FLOTUS reportedly told top tech leaders she was looking for ways to help children who had sent her letters about being bullied on social media.

Executives from Amazon, Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Snapchat shared in a discussion about how technology was affecting young people and how to combat cyber bullying.
Great. But what apparently didn’t come up was Bully-In-Chief Donald Trump. A pool report quotes Melania as defending criticism of her taking on this particular cause by saying:
“I am well aware that people are skeptical of me discussing the topic. I have been criticized for my commitment to tackling this issue and I know that will continue, but it will not stop me from doing what I know is right. I am here with one goal: helping children and our next generation.”
Um. She’s making it sound like people don’t think she’s got what it takes. Like she’s the Rudy of cyber bullying prevention or some shit.
We don’t hear anyone criticizing her for her “commitment.” The word is “hypocrisy.”
After all, everything her husband has done in office has fanned the flames of divisiveness and racial tension.
He routinely bullies women, minorities, and even other world leaders (and Amazon execs now that we think of it) with childish, sometimes sexist and racist nicknames.
And throughout it all, throughout he bullying and the Birtherism, there’s Melania right by his side, bragging about how he hits back ten times harder.
But you go ahead and punch that straw man, girl. You’re so brave.
Kourtney Kardashian did not “warn” Sofia Richie to “stay away” from her children, despite a new report. This is yet another made-up, untrue story pitting the women against each other. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
On Sunday, Richie and boyfriend Scott Disick were seen out with two of the children he shares with Kardashian, son Mason and daughter Penelope. Now on Tuesday, HollywoodLife is claiming Kardashian wants to “put a stop” to Richie spending time with her kids. A so-called “source close to the Kardashians” alleges the reality star believes the Richie is “not a good role model” and “does not like the influence Sofia has over the kids.”
The site’s supposed snitch, who unnaturally repeats everyone’s first name in every sentence, suspiciously switches from “Kourtney” to “Kourt” to allege, “Kourt has reached out to Sofia personally and told her to back off from spending so much time with them.” This purported tipster goes on to contend that “Kourtney is furious that Sofia is playing stepmom with Scott and the kids,” and expresses concern that the young children will “learn harmful ways” Richie. Significantly, it’s not said what “harmful ways” she could be teaching the kids, nor is the contention that she isn’t a “good role model” supported.
It’s further claimed Kardashian doesn’t want her sons and daughter “getting attached to someone that Kourtney feels will not be around or a part of their lives for very long.” That leads the website to opine, “If you ask us, people should wait at least several months before introducing children to a significant other.” Of course, if the blog was really knowledgeable, it would know Disick and Richie were first linked nearly a year ago while in Cannes and began seeing each other regularly last fall. It’s already been “at least several months.”
Additonally, last month People reported that while Kardashian isn’t fond of the age difference in Disick and Richie’s relationship, it’s precisely because the romance has lasted that “Kourtney allowed her to meet the kids.” It doesn’t make sense to now contradictorily allege the “KUWTK” star is telling Richie to “stay away.” It’s also bizarre that this supposed “warning” is coming almost two months after Richie first went out in public with Disick’s kids in late January.
In fact, as Gossip Cop pointed out then, the online publication actually used that outing to make-up a tall tale about how his children “loved meeting” her. As seen in our archives, there were a number of holes in that narrative, and as is typical of a purported “exclusive” from the site known as HollywoodLies, there are indications here that this latest article is similarly made-up and inaccurate. On top of that, Gossip Cop is assured that Kardashian isn’t having anyone genuinely “close” to her bad-mouth the woman dating the father of her kids. This drama is purely fictional.
Julia Roberts isn’t upset about Pretty Woman being turned into a Broadway musical, despite a bogus report claiming the actress is “snubbing” the project. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s false.
A stage version of the 1990 romantic comedy debuts on Broadway this July following a short tryout run in Chicago. Roberts co-starred alongside Richard Gere in the original film, which told the story of a wealthy businessman who falls in love with a prostitute. The hit movie turned the actress into a superstar, and now according to the National Enquirer, she’s not happy about her classic film getting a Broadway remake.
“She hasn’t given it her blessing,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine. “She will not be attending the opening night or doing any type of publicity to help sell tickets.” However, Roberts has no involvement in the musical and she hasn’t been asked to help promote it. British actress Samantha Banks, who’s playing the role originated by Roberts, even said in a recent interview that she plans to offer a different take on the character. “You have to try to do your own thing,” the young actress noted.
Additionally, it was Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall who came up with the idea for the musical. The filmmaker passed away during the early planning stages, but the project had his full support. Roberts was close friends with Marshall and reunited with the director on several more films over the years, including his final movie, Mother’s Day. It’s highly unlikely the actress would be upset about a project that her longtime friend and collaborator had conceived.
Regardless, Gossip Cop is told by a rep for the musical that the tabloid’s report is “fake.” A Roberts insider similarly assures us there’s no truth to the magazine’s narrative. This is a non-story that was concocted to create phony drama.
It’s also worth noting, this isn’t the first time the Enquirer has published a false story related to Pretty Woman. Gossip Cop recently busted the tabloid for claiming Roberts was having a secret fling with Gere behind her husband’s back. This latest article concerning the actress’s thoughts on the upcoming musical is equally baseless.
A story alleging Justin Bieber’s “time apart” from Selena Gomez is “driving him crazy” was made-up. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. Bieber is doing fine, and these contentions actually contradict a prior report. Allow us to explain.
According to HollywoodLife, while Gomez is “all smiles on her Australian vacation,” Bieber is “struggling” and going through a “tough time.” A so-called “source” alleges the singer-actress is “like a drug for him,” and he “needs more and more and more.” The site’s supposed snitch maintains Bieber has “Selena on the brain constantly” and “keeps thinking about her,” even as he spends time with pals to “drown it out.”
This alleged tipster goes on to contend that Bieber is already planning to “really wine and dine her upon her return” to the United States in hopes of starting their romance “back up again.” Notably, though, the blog admits it doesn’t know when Gomez is poised to be in Los Angeles again. The website points out Gomez posted a video on Instagram from her time in Australia, along with a “subliminal message” about how “she ‘chose’ to take care of herself, ‘not to prove anything to anyone.’ Wonders the outlet, “Was she trying to give us insight into her most recent split with Bieber?”
First off, Gomez is not actually on a “vacation.” She went to Sydney for Hillsong Church’s Colour Conference, and the “subliminal message” she shared on Instagram was actually a quote from the event. And, as a number of publications astutely observed, Gomez posted this “beauty myth” statement after she was body-shamed on social media. It had nothing to do with her relationship with Bieber.
Second, HollywoodLies, as it is nicknamed, has spent months spreading false claims about what Gomez and Bieber are doing together. After wrongly purporting to know how they’d be spending Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and his birthday, the site now wants readers to believe it has genuine insight on Bieber’s future plans for them. Fat chance, considering this is the same blog he once slammed as “garbage.”
Third, although the website acknowledges that Bieber has been “staying active,” it makes hay of a routine fall during a soccer match and absurdly asserts he “seemingly broke down” during a hockey game when he was actually just catching his breath. He also recently attended a movie premiere and its after-party, and shortly before this tall tale was published, Bieber posted on Twitter that he’s “grateful for great friends.”
Fourth and last, HollywoodLies is the same publication that just last week insisted that Bieber and Gomez were “meeting in secret,” but just keeping their romance private. If that was the case, why would he now be going “crazy” with all this “time apart”? The inconsistencies expose the lies.
Whether or not Bieber is really “struggling” with their decision to take a break from the relationship, it’s abundantly apparent this latest “exclusive” did not actually come from a real “source,” just like the other article didn’t. Rather, the site is continuing its shameful practice of trying to capitalize on the couple with made-up stories.

Claims to know Justin Bieber’s time apart from Selena Gomez is driving him crazy as he struggles with their break.
Jax Taylor may not SURvive in West Hollywood for much longer.
Or, at least, that was the story he was touting during Monday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules. In the latest episode, Mr. Taylor revealed to girlfriend Brittany Cartwright that he may be giving up his longtime bartending career to pursue a “public relations, social media, and marketing” opportunity — in TAMPA!

Apparently, a hockey publicist post opened up down in Florida, and the 38-year-old felt he needed to go after his “dream job.” Miz Cartwright was baffled by this admission for a few reasons. For starters, Jax has never really mentioned his sports-related aspiration. Secondly, Brittany moved thousands of miles to build a life with Jax, she isn’t going to just pack up and move again.
During a testimonial, the Kentucky native confessed:
“Jax is acting like this job is a lifelong dream. I’ve never heard about this before.”
In typical Jax fashion, the reality TV star ignored his girlfriend’s concerns, and said there was “really nothing here for [him].” Ouch.
Of course, the job conversation was brought up once again during the group trip to Mexico. While discussing the sudden career change, Taylor said he was “95 percent” sure he would take the gig. When Brittany accused him of ignoring her feelings, Jax got defensive and stormed out of their hotel room.
Later on, the Lisa Vanderpump-formed friend group learned about Jax’s plan and, like Brittany, were skeptical about the job. Jax’s ex Stassi Schroeder even went as far as to accuse her former flame of lying about landing the opportunity. She snarked during a confessional:
“He’s a liar. He won’t tell us what it’s called, the position… What would you have to do besides tweet about hockey?”
As Jax has been known for pathologically lying, we can’t say Stassi’s in the wrong for having doubts. The disagreement between Jax and Brittany eventually became a group issue, as the women LAID INTO Taylor in a sneak peek for next week’s episode (below).
Ugh. Taylor wasn’t the only one in the hot seat, as Schroeder had to deal with her Jeremy Madix accusations.
In case you missed last week’s episode, the blonde TV personality accused Ariana Madix‘s brother of harassing women at Katie Maloney‘s wedding. She doubled down on her allegations during a new conversation with pal Lala Kent. Although Stassi felt that she was in the right, she was actually frustrated by Ariana’s unwillingness to hear her side of things.

The controversial podcaster noted:
“When I try and communicate with Ariana, it’s very much her way or the highway.”
In regards to her troubling claims against Mr. Madix, she continued:
“We live in this world where all of us women, we get shamed for calling people out. We get shamed for actually bringing attention to it. I will never apologize.”
Isn’t this the same woman who compared the #MeToo movement to a “male witch hunt??” Just sayin’…
Another episode highlight included Scheana Marie admitting that even boyfriend Rob Valletta doesn’t think that she has “processed” her divorce from Mike Shay. Ironically, the split was pretty much finalized as the former Mrs. Shay had this very conversation.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not “secretly married,” despite reports that are both late and wrong. These new rumors are actually based on claims that Gossip Cop debunked back in January. We can now bust the untrue allegations again.
More than two months ago, OK! fabricated a cover story about Stefani and Shelton being married in a “backyard wedding.” The tabloid made-up details about the couple supposedly tying the knot “just days before Christmas.” A rep for Stefani confirmed to Gossip Cop that the tale was completely false. Still, it was picked up at the time by The Inquisitr, which regurgitated the misinformation.
Bizarrely, outlets are now picking up The Inquisitr story to suggest Stefani and Shelton are “secretly married.” It’s unclear why the inaccurate article is getting attention now when it was published back on January 4. But the Daily Mail, for example, is alleging now on March 19 that the couple “may be keeping a huge secret from fans.” Asserts the paper, “The Inquisitr has reported that the couple tied the knot days before Christmas in the backyard of the former No Doubt songstress’s Los Angeles home.”
The publication goes on to repeat the claims from the old report, and points out that OK! peddled a tale back in January about a “hoedown wedding.” Similarly, Perez Hilton is asking, “Are congratulations in order for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton??” His blog, too, refers to The Inquisitr and OK!, and gives no suggestion that any effort was made to independently verify the contentions. The Daily Mail, meanwhile, offers, “Wedding rumors have not been addressed by Gwen or Blake.”
Actually, as noted above, Stefani’s rep did address these “wedding rumors” when they first came out. Still, Gossip Cop just checked in with her camp again, and we’re assured there’s still no merit to the claims they tied the knot. Additionally, ETOnline reported less than a week ago that Stefani and Shelton are “not ready to get married.” Both the Daily Mail and Hilton acknowledge that report in their respective articles, yet still suggest to readers that the couple has in fact married.
In other words, these outlets are spreading fake news. But on top of fact-checking, which neither publication apparently did, they should’ve also considered the source. As seen below, The Inquistir has run multiple bogus stories over the years about Stefani and Shelton supposedly being married (see screengrab below). At no point has the site been right. Now these other places have foolishly taken the blog’s word, based entirely off a two-month-old story that was in turn copied from a tabloid that has fabricated cover stories about Stefani and Shelton again and again. It doesn’t get much stupider than that.
Selena Gomez was not caught partying with a “mystery man” on a yacht in Australia, despite an untrue claim. This allegation, which is based solely on paparazzi photos, is largely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can bust the false report.
OK! sensationally blares in a headline on its website, “Justin Who? Selena Gomez Parties On Yacht With Mystery Man In Skimpy Bikini.” Alongside pictures of the actress on a boat with friends, the tabloid asserts she’s “vacationing” in Australia, and points out that she was joined by a “hot,” unidentified guy. “What will Justin think?” wonder the gossip magazine, which appears to want to stir the pot rather than practice real journalism. The outlet even goes on to ask readers, “Do you think Selena’s moved on from Justin [Bieber]?
The problems here are plentiful. The singer is not “vacationing.” Gomez arrived in Sydney in advance of a meet-up this week at Hillsong Church. She is set to attend Hillsong’s annual Colour Conference for women. With free time before the event’s official start, Gomez took advantage of the gorgeous scenery and went on a yacht with pals. Far from “partying,” however, she was photographed walking around the boat and sunbathing.
Furthermore, she was not with a “mystery man.” The guy’s identity is only a “mystery” to outlets that don’t bother to research and investigate. Gomez was joined by Johnny Rays, who works for Hillsong Church in Australia. Their platonic hangout does not mean she’s “moved on” from Bieber. In fact, Gomez and Rays also spent time together last fall, right around the time she and Bieber were rekindling their relationship.
But simply because Bieber and Gomez are currently on a break, the publication apparently decided to make hay of her spending time with friends. Just a few days ago, the tabloid’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, tried to do the same, alleging Bieber caught with a “mystery blonde.”Gossip Cop, however, revealed that the woman in question was Baskin Champion, the sister of Abby Champion, who is dating Bieber’s pal Patrick Schwarzenegger. They were all hanging out following the premiere of Schwarzenegger’s movie, Midnight Sun.
Break or no break, Bieber and Gomez are both allowed to hang out with members of the opposite sex. Perhaps if the gossip media was less interested in packaging everything for clicks, it wouldn’t wrongly make normal activities seem salacious. The real “mystery” here is why OK! didn’t even bother to fully fact-check its article about Gomez.
Jamie Spears isn’t here for Kevin Federline‘s child support woes.
As we previously reported, Britney Spears‘ baby daddy has requested an increase in his $ 20K a month child support stipend. While it’s said that Godney isn’t THRILLED at the request, she’s letting her poppa negotiate a deal with KFed.
And it appears that negotiations are well under way, though Mr. Spears is NOT impressed with his former son-in-law!

Reportedly, Jamie is super upset at Kevin’s request, as he believes that the ex backup dancer is just trying to leech off Britney’s success. Well, it doesn’t take flesh-and-blood to see that. LOLz!
According to TMZ sources, the 39-year-old recently called Jamie and revealed that he was in a financial bind. Of course, following the request for more money, Spears pressed Federline about where the rest of his money goes. However, the California native stayed tight lipped.
Spears and Federline’s lawyer then sat down to further discuss the issue. During the meeting, Kevin’s attorney defended that as Britney’s boys (Sean and Jayden) have gotten older, their father needs more funds to support them. Understandably, Jamie pressed Kevin again to get specific about HOW the money was being spent.
Sadly, Kevin’s camp didn’t offer up any specifics, but did note that the father of six needed more cash to take care of the kiddos on a Britney level. This defense didn’t sit well with Jamie, as he clapped back that the Toxic singer hasn’t changed her parenting style.
In response, KFed’s legal counsel brought up Britney’s Sin City success, where she has had countless sold out residency shows. Kevin feels his ex wife should increase his stipend so that he can give the boys the life they’re used to when they’re with their mother. Jamie was unmoved by this plea, as he felt Kevin was trying to manipulate the situation so that the pop sensation was paying for his other children.
The negotiations are clearly off to a rough start, especially since it’s believed that Federline and his attorney never named a specific sum and couldn’t prove the children had unmet needs. Intense stuff.
The famed daughter of JAY-Z and Beyoncé may only be six years old, but she’s already fast becoming a MAJOR art dealer — at least based on what went down for the little girl this weekend!

Bey and Jay took their daughter to the Wearable Art Gala on Saturday night in El Lay, which was being organized by grandma Tina Knowles Lawson and her husband, Richard.
The event was all for a good cause — raising money to give the area a new, non-profit art and performance complex — and so Blue Ivy couldn’t hold back when it came time to bid on some art!
At one point during the gala, in the middle of an art auction, Blue Ivy decided to drop a whopping $ 19,000 on a piece of art called Cries In Poorness, throwing down the bid by raising her card.
It’s unclear whether Blue Ivy actually won the bid on the piece — goodness knows Jay and Bay can afford it if she did — but that’s TRULY high rolling by the adorable six-year-old!

Black Panther continued dominating the box office AGAIN this weekend, landing once again in the top spot in North America, which is even bigger news because it far surpassed Tomb Raider in that film’s opening weekend!

The Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther took in a domestic box office haul of $ 27 million over the last two days, which was a couple bills more than Tomb Raider‘s muted $ 23.5 million from 3,854 theaters across North America.
For Black Panther, that means the historic movie has now taken in more than $ 600 million at the domestic box office! Truly incredible!!!
And for Tomb Raider, that $ 23.5 million number is no doubt a disappointment for Warner Bros. and MGM, which together worked hard to reboot the female-led franchise based on the video game. But this weekend’s Tomb Raider opener was no match for Angelina Jolie‘s version in the early 2000s.
The news isn’t all bad for Tomb Raider; the movie did do $ 84.5 million from 65 markets overseas (tops worldwide on the foreign weekend chart), and in total put together a tally of $ 102.5 million on its opening weekend.
Not too bad… but still…
Elsewhere at the box office, the other big headline centered around I Can Only Imagine, a faith-based film from Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate, which did a surprising $ 17.1 million from 1,628 theaters.
That total was good enough to defeat both A Wrinkle Of Time and Love, Simon this weekend in a VERY surprise upset!!! Of course, no one could touch Black Panther… again…
