Angelina Jolie Did NOT Give Tell-All Interview About Brad Pitt, Despite Report

Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt Tell All Interview

(Star)

One of this week’s tabloids is trying to dupe readers into believing it has an interview with Angelina Jolie in which she opens up about her divorce from Brad Pitt. The actress never actually spoke to the magazine. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.

The cover of the latest issue of Star reads, “Angie Tells All: Love, Regrets & Divorcing Brad.” The accompanying article says the actress is ready to spill all the details about her split, with some of the topics including “Brad’s drinking, their constant fighting and the fact that she felt angry for years before filing for divorce.” An alleged insider says, “She’s leaving no stone unturned, and it’s been incredibly cathartic for her.” The outlet doesn’t actually bother to mention when, where and how the actress plans to “tell-all.”

From there, the supposed source purports to know Jolie’s feelings about Jennifer Aniston, saying the Maleficent star wasn’t happy about being branded a “black widow” when Pitt left his ex-wife for her. “She wants the world to know that Jen didn’t appreciate what she had with Brad,” says the questionable tipster. “Angie doesn’t feel sorry for Jen one bit, and she’s going to tell everyone how she couldn’t help but seduce Brad on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith when things between them began heating up.” Gossip Cop should stress once again, the tabloid leaves it very vague when it comes to how Jolie plans to “tell everyone” all of this.

The magazine goes on to speculate about what went wrong in Jolie and Pitt’s marriage, saying the stress of caring for six kids caused tension in their relationship and “changed their whole dynamic.” A few paragraphs later, the outlet contradicts itself by claiming “the children were the main reason why [Jolie] didn’t walk away sooner.”

The publication concludes its report by contending that the actress is ready to start dating again, adding, “It was enormously helpful for her to get all the drama with Brad off her chest.” However, individuals in Jolie’s camp have assured us multiple times she’s focused on her kids and work at this time. Meanwhile, Jolie has yet to address “all the drama with Brad,” and certainly hasn’t done so in this week’s Star.

Those passing by newsstands shouldn’t be blamed if they believe the outlet has an exclusive “tell-all” interview with Jolie, as that’s how the tabloid represents its story. What’s actually included inside the magazine is pure speculation about the actress’s divorce, possibly manufactured quotes from anonymous “sources” and a few additional details that might be semi-accurate, but are already common knowledge.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time the tabloid has pretended to have insight into Jolie’s personal life. Back in April, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely claiming Jolie was dating a rich businessman after becoming legally single in her divorce from Pitt. The actress wasn’t in a romance with a mystery businessman, and this latest article makes no mention of that bogus narrative.

In February, Gossip Cop also called out the magazine for wrongly reporting Jolie was dating Sean Penn. As time has proven, she wasn’t. And just a few weeks ago, the publication ran a made-up story about Jolie asking Keanu Reeves out on a date. That never happened either.

It’s safe to say that Jolie wouldn’t sit down and talk to a tabloid that consistently prints fiction about her. Unfortunately, Star is trying to mislead readers by giving off the impression that it scored a major interview with the actress. That, however, is simply not the case.
