George Clooney and Amal Clooney are not spending $ 1 million on the delivery of their soon-to-be-born twin babies, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.

An article in the latest issue of Star purports to know all the details of the couple’s birthing plan. A supposed “source” tells the magazine that the parents-to-be have reserved an entire wing at an upscale London hospital, which runs around $ 450,000 a week. The outlet’s dubious insider further claims the Clooneys also have a team of doctors on standby at a separate hospital closer to their London home, just in case Amal gives birth sooner than expected.

Additionally, says the magazine’s questionable insider, the couple is paying the royal family’s doctor $ 200,000 to deliver their twins. But Gossip Cop looked into the publication’s story, and a trustworthy source close to the couple tells us it’s all inaccurate. The famous spouses obviously have the means to ensure that Amal’s pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible, but they’re simply not spending $ 1 million on the twins’ birth.

Unfortunately, Gossip Cop has had to correct many bogus stories surrounding the human rights lawyer’s pregnancy. We previously busted Star’s sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming George was experiencing “sympathy pregnancy problems.” Gossip Cop also debunked that magazine’s tall tale about Amal hiring unattractive nannies to prevent George from cheating. This latest article is similarly untrue.
