Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Planning ‘Wedding Of The Year’ In Oklahoma?

Gwen Stefani Blake Shelton Wedding 2 Million Oklahoma

(Star)

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not planning the “wedding of the year” at his Oklahoma ranch, despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story. The music stars simply don’t have a ceremony in the works.

“Blake & Gwen: We’re Getting Married!” reads a headline in the latest issue of Star. The accompanying article says the couple of nearly four years is planning to tie the knot in front of their parents, siblings, Stefani’s three kids and 200 guests. “They’ll fly people in via private jets, and all of their celeb pals will be there, including Kelly Clarkson, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and Adam Levine, who’ll serve as Blake’s best man,” says an alleged insider, adding that the ceremony will cost $ 2 million.

From there, the supposed source purports to know all of the details about the couple’s nuptials, claiming Stefani is “hiring a top Michelin-star L.A. chef for a five-course sit-down feast, and she’s insisting that everything be organic.” The suspicious tipster further contends that the No Doubt singer wants her three sons to play a big part in the ceremony, and she’s also setting up a “full-blown fair with rides and games for the kids” so her son and their friends are entertained.

“Gwen and Blake are planning a 30-minute fireworks display for the end of the night,” adds the seemingly purported insider. “He wanted to light the fireworks himself, but she doesn’t think it’s a good idea, so they’ll bring in professionals.” The so-called “source” provides additional tidbits about the outfits the couple will wear and what will be on tap at the bar.

Here’s what the “insider” never bothers to mention: when this supposed wedding is taking place. That’s a big omission. It’s hard to believe a legitimate source would know about the guest list, specifics about the reception’s chef, and the cost of the nuptials, but have no idea when it’s happening.

Not only does a source close to the couple tell Gossip Cop the story is untrue, but if this premise sounds familiar, that’s because we’ve been debunking variations of it for quite some time. Back in 2016, Star’s sister publication, OK!, falsely claimed Stefani and Shelton had a secret wedding at his ranch in Oklahoma. Last August, Star made up another report about Stefani and Shelton getting married on his ranch.

Last September, we busted the magazine’s other sister publication, Life & Style, for falsely claiming Stefani and Shelton were planning a wedding at his Oklahoma ranch. Two months later, In Touch wrongly reported Stefani was both pregnant and marrying her boyfriend in Oklahoma.

In February, Gossip Cop called out the National Enquirer for making up a story about Stefani and Shelton having a wedding celebration at his Oklahoma ranch after first exchanging vows at her home in Los Angeles. And as recently as April, Life & Style falsely claimed Stefani announced she was pregnant in the middle of her “wedding” to Shelton at his Oklahoma ranch.

The previously mentioned articles aren’t even all of the “Oklahoma ranch” weddings created by the tabloids, but Gossip Cop imagines you get the point. There are two possibilities here: either the couple has been secretly getting married at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch every few months (and occasionally having a baby), or this ongoing saga is fictional. We’ll go with the latter explanation.
