Truth About Brad Pitt Dating His Co-Stars Following Angelina Jolie Split

Brad Pitt has been wrongly linked to many of his female co-stars following his split from Angelina Jolie. Gossip Cop has debunked many of the actor’s nonexistent romances with colleagues. Here are five wrong rumors on the subject.

Gossip Cop has busted several inaccurate stories about Pitt being in a romance with Margot Robbie, his co-star in the upcoming movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Just one example would be an article in Star last month announcing the two as “Hollywood’s hottest couple.” An anonymous tipster told the tabloid there were “rumors flying around that these two could be more than just friends.”

In reality, the actress is happily married to producer Tom Ackerley. Robbie even frequently flaunts her relationship with her husband on social media. Meanwhile, Pitt’s spokesperson told us on the record that all talk of the actor getting close to his co-star was nonsense.

In February, Gossip Cop called out RadarOnline for falsely claiming Pitt was crushing on 21-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co-star Sydney Sweeney. The blog contended the young actress made a huge impression on Pitt while they were working together on the upcoming film, and “nobody would be surprised if he asked her out on a date, even though there is that huge age difference.”

Just weeks before it published the article, the website had sworn Pitt was dating Charlize Theron. Considering the outlet has trouble keeping track of its phony narratives, Gossip Cop was quite hesitant to buy the tale about Sweeney. Still, we checked in with a rep qualified to speak on the actor’s behalf, who assured us the report was fabricated.

In January, Gossip Cop busted NW for wrongly reporting that Pitt was in a secret romance with Julia Roberts, his co-star in The Mexican, Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve. The magazine maintained the two reconnected following his separation from Jolie, and Roberts had been turning to him amid alleged marriage problems with husband Danny Moder.

One week before the bogus article hit newsstands, Roberts and her husband were spotted packing on the PDA at the Golden Globes. Shortly before that, the actress addressed false rumors about her marriage in a Harper’s Bazaar cover story, noting that such rumors “still hurt my feelings… Because I’m so proud of my marriage.” Roberts and Moder, who will celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary in July, are still going strong, and she hasn’t dumped him for Pitt.

Back in 2017, Gossip Cop shot down a RadarOnline story claiming Pitt was developing a romance with Ad Astra co-star Ruth Negga. The blog maintained the two shared numerous dinners at the actor’s house in Los Angeles. The actress had been in a seven-year relationship with actor Dominic Cooper at the time the report was published, but a “source” insisted Pitt would pursue her “if she wasn’t attached,” adding, “Don’t be surprised if this is Brad’s next girlfriend down the line.”

Negga and Cooper split in April 2018. Still, Pitt didn’t start dating the actress, nor was he getting close to her while shooting their movie. The relationship between the Ad Astra co-stars was purely professional.

And back in 2016, Gossip Cop busted the New York Post for wrongly reporting the reason Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt was that he having an affair with Allied co-star Marion Cotillard. A supposed source was quoted as saying, “[Jolie] hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was.” Immediately after the untrue story was picked up by outlets around the world, Cotillard herself took to Instagram to set the record straight. In addition to denying the cheating allegations, the actress revealed that she was expecting her second child with director Guillaume Canet, whom she’s been in a relationship with since 2007.
