Arnold Schwarzenegger may no longer be the governor of California, but he’s still “The Governator.”
The one-time action star turned politician is returning to the entertainment industry for a new animated TV series called – that’s right – “The Governator.”
The action-comedy cartoon is about an ex-governor who becomes a crime fighter.
The cartoon superhero, voiced by Schwarzenegger, will have an underground high-tech lab known as the Arnold Cave (below his Brentwood home), and he’ll have some sidekicks and even a few villains, such as the Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (aka G.I.R.L.I.E. Men).
The hope is that the series – being developed with Stan Lee – will spawn a franchise that includes comic books and features films.
What do you think of Schwarzenegger returning as “The Governator”?

Bill Murray has been cast to play 32nd American President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in a Focus Features film Biopic.
The biopic is based on Hyde Park On The Hudson, a British radio play. Because nothing screams American President biopic like a British play.
According to PopCrunch:
It will tell the story of the sexual liaison the Commander-in-Chief had with his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley, and one weekend in June 1939 when the King and Queen of England paid Roosevelt a visit at his New York cottage. This was notable since it was the first time any British monarchy had visited America from across the pond.
Directing the movie will be Notting Hill director Roger Michell. It will also be the most serious role Bill Murray has accepted to date.

The Real Housewives fad may soon be crossing the border. Rumors are circulating that producers are currently working on a Canadian edition of the popular show which has already seen wives from Orange County to New York to Miami and beyond.
The news says Lark Productions of Vancouver is working on “early casting stages for the show” and that the show will be “along the lines of the Real Housewives†series. The show, which has been a ratings darling for Bravo since it debuts in 2006 continues to reinvent itself, it will be interesting to see how another network handles the show.
Lark Productions actually signed a deal in 2010 to bring Real Housewives to Canada, however Bravo recently pulled Real Housewives of DC amid a poor reception and the Miami show has watched ratings plummet to a new low for the entire series.
Would you be willing to tune into a Canadian product of the Real Housewives show.
