Irony is in, while talent is out. Rolling Stone continues, saying,

“It’s unclear whether or not “Friday” will maintain its momentum as an internet meme, much less prove itself to have legs at digital retail. Either way, with these sales it doesn’t seem far-fetched to imagine that an established label may soon take a chance on signing Black. The bigger question is — do you market her as an absurd novelty or as a legit teen pop singer?”

It looks like Billy Ray Cyrus and wife of 17 years Tish Cyrus are not getting divorced after all.

Billy met with the ladies of The View for a taping that will air Friday and revealed that his wife and the mother of his five children will be staying with him.

You may recall that Cyrus recently blasted Disney’s Hannah Montana for “destroying his family.” At that time Tish and Billy were estranged and Miley Cyrus was smoking salvia.

Now Billy says of his Hannah statement:

Hannah Montana didn’t ruin my family. Fame did…I’ve dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together … Things are the best they’ve ever been. Billy went on to add, “I feel like I got my Miley back,” and, “I feel like we’re the daddy and daughter we were before Hannah Montana.”

He also made amends with Disney:

“I don’t think ‘Hannah Montana’ ruined my family, but to set the record straight, I love ‘Hannah Montana.’ I love Disney. That didn’t tear my family apart. Now fame, fame is a different animal, you’ve got to be careful with that thing.

Justin Bieber’s hair has become a liability, according to the National Enquirer, which claims a female fan recently attacked The Biebs’ precious strands with a pair of scissors.

The tab says the incident occurred when two teenage girls approached Bieber as he was leaving a recording studio in L.A.

As the pop star was hugging one of the lucky ladies, reports the Enquirer, he suddenly “felt a slight tug on the back of his head,” and yelled, “Hey… what the hell?”

According to the mag, one of the young girls then “triumphantly held up a tiny lock of Bieber hair she’d snipped with fingernail scissors and squealed: ‘I GOT IT!’” before dashing off with her friend.

So was the “Baby” singer really the victim of a hair-and-run?

Nope.

A rep for Bieber tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is “absolutely ridiculous.”
