Now back to the music, 48 year old Cruise is playing the role of Stacie Jaxx and excitedly claims he has been learning a lot of things lately to do his role some good justice. Having no musical experience with a guitar, he has been juggling lessons between electric guitar, acoustic guitar and singing! Kinda hard to imagine Tom Cruise belting out in screams and a pair of pleather tight jeans. Ha! Rock of Ages is slated to start shooting this month.

You gotta hand it to the guy who jumps on a couch wrapped in a total lovestruck high and marries this doe-eyed long lithed cutie who’s idolized him for years. And then, he buys his own sonogram machine to monitor his first born, yet still manages to flip allover along his new age beliefs. The man certainly has his own thing going.

Giving a bit of a hint on Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Tom Cruise is definitely keen to see how his co-produced film will reflect a new and distinct impression from its past sequels. The movie is scheduled for it’s release in December 2011.

Looks like wedding bells continue to ring in London for it’s celebrities, as Paul McCartney announces his engagement to Nancy Shevell. Although, no further details have been given for specific dates or whatnot, the singer popped the question during a romantic candle lit dinner. The couple has been frequently seen together gracing celebrity events and posing for pics at a gala evening at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Noticeably, the ring still hasn’t made a public appearance.

Known for keeping a tight lip on his private life, 68 year old McCartney has been dating 51 year old Shevell for nearly four years after the rather bitter divorce of the famous Beatle with then wife, Heather Mills.

Receiving honorable knighthood from Queen Elizabeth, Sir Paul McCartney has 29 years of solid marriage to American photographer Linda Eastman. Paul admits they have only ever spent 11 nights apart during their entire marriage but sadly enough, breast cancer took her away from this wedded bliss in 1998. Their happy union gave them four children, one of which is well known designer Stella McCartney.

Love took McCartney on a second adventure with his marriage to British former model, Heather Mills in 2002 and gave them a daughter. However, the adventure turned sour for the couple and eventually led to a bitter divorce in 2006 and a legal squabble over money in 2008.

To date, Sir Paul McCartney seems to be basking in love with the Nancy Shevell, who happens to be a distinguished board member of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. We certainly wish one of the wealthiest musicians in Britain another shot at bliss. With his fortune estimated to tip at $811 million, what more could he ask for?

Actor and comedian David Spade shines in his heart of gold with the American Red Cross. With the aftermath of tornadoes that have ripped through the United States on April 27-28, Spade made a hefty donation of $200,000 in support of  the American Red Cross’ tornado disaster relief operations.

Killing hundreds of people ,stranding thousands and leaving behind many people homeless, the tornadoes that wreaked havoc in the midwestern and southeastern US  has led the Rules of Engagement star  to extend a generous hand in the efforts of the Red Cross to reach out to affected people who are in desperate need of assistance.

The 46 yr old brother-in-law of famous designer Kate Spade, has long been a supporter of the Red Cross over the years.  He is an American Red Cross National Cabinet member, assisting the agency with it’s relief efforts through his personal donations and money raised  from his shows.  This enabled Spade to contribute $50,000 to the states of Kentucky and Tennessee in July of last year.

In a statement, The American Red Cross has expressed their deep appreciation for the actor’s unfailing  and selfless generous support through donating his time, talent and money to assist those in need.

Spade hopes that his move will encourage others to join him in his efforts to support the American Red Cross . Apparently, Charlie Sheen also shares this advocacy as the actor has launched a website in support of raising money for disaster relief  for tornado victims. His website,  TorpedosAgainstTornados.com promises to send any donor  who contributes $100 or more, a personally autographed baseball from the controversial 45 year old actor.

Justin Bieber takes his stand against bullying next to viral video hero Casey Heynes. If you haven’t heard of Casey Heynes, he is an Australian boy who became instantly famous from a cell phone video footage of him defending himself from a fellow schoolmate attacking him.

The said video instantly went viral and millions of people from around the world voiced out their heart for the 10^th grader student. Justin Bieber  was one of those who saw the video and learned of Casey’s story . Being able to closely relate to a teenager’s tough life, Bieber knew just how to make a statement on this matter as he flew Casey and his family to his concert in Melbourne. The singer even brought Casey out onto the stage with him, as the boy received proud cheers from the crowd.

In case you haven’t been reading much of Bieber fever news, the 17-year old pop idol has been quite the victim of bullying himself. Just recently he had eggs thrown at him onstage during one of his shows in Australia.  Refusing to get rattled by it, the singer kept on with his performance.  One would wonder though, why haters would even bother to spend money on tickets, stand with the maddening queue of fans, go through all that effort  only to throw eggs at a 17 year old boy. Geez, so much hate in this world.

As for Casey Heynes, he got his sweet revenge and a loud and proud statement to the world to always stand up against bullying.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is once again back in the single mix. After dating Alex Beh for almost a year, the Ghost Whisperer’s representative confirms another lost love for the actress. The couple started dating in late July of 2010 soon after Jen broke off with her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy.

Nobody really knows why the 31 year old actress can’t seem to pin the right man down. Many have speculated it might have to do with her mother who still pretty much has a big say in her personal affairs. Word has it that Jennifer’s mom is the typical controlling Hollywood mom who may at some point get a little too much to handle for Jen’s love interests.

As it is, she describes actor-director Alex Beh, as a very sweet guy who manages to give her flowers every single day ever since the day they first met. He would either buy her a bouquet or handpick a single flower for her. Now where does one find such a guy nowadays, eh?

Despite her break-ups, Jennifer Love seems to be coping well. She keeps a hopeful line up of three engagement rings from Tiffany’s. Yep, you read that right! Jen admits to Ellen DeGeneres that she has 3 rings picked out, just in case the occasion arises.

According to the actress, she would be doing her future beau a favor so he doesn’t upset her man in the even he picks out a bad ring. Well, some people just have the need to be prepared at all times. Good luck , Jen … here’s hoping you pick the right man for you soon.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has a real situation on his hands – with his father!

Frank Sorrentino, the “Jersey Shore” star’s dad, BLASTS his famous son in a video posted to his own site: The Confrontation.

In the scathing clip, eloquently titled “F*ck the Little F*ck,” Frank Sorrentino claims Sitch forgot his roots once he got big.

“You’re full of sh*t,” Frank tells Mike, looking into the camera. “I’m telling you you’re full of sh*t. I know you. I stood up for you. I put my f*cking balls on the line for you a hundred f*cking times.”

Sorrentino Sr. seems particularly enraged that his son refused to help him in a time of need.

“I ask you one f*cking favor and you tell me to go f*cking be like a regular f*cking Joe Blow and go on welfare?” says an incredulous Frank. “No, my friend, I don’t do that.”

“I love my son, but he broke my heart,” says Frank, adding, “So sit back. I’m going to tell you about the Situation.”
