Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Planning Romantic Weekend In France?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston France Weekend

(Life and Style)

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are not planning a romantic weekend trip to France, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. There’s simply no truth to it.

According to Life & Style, the ex-spouses have rekindled their romance and want to celebrate it with a European getaway. A supposed source tells the magazine, “Friends are buzzing that Brad and Jen are already talking about being in love again. He’s ready to take a huge risk and bring Jen to Chateau Miraval – the estate in France that he still owns with [Angelina Jolie].”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider further contends that Jolie “will be extremely livid if she finds out” about Pitt taking Aniston to their estate, but “Brad thinks Jen will enjoy the romance and privacy that the chateau offers.” From there, the questionable tipster insists that “every detail” of the getaway “has already been planned,” including walks in the estate’s vineyards and candlelit dinners.

“It doesn’t seem to bother Jen that Angie and Brad lived at Chateau Miraval together,” adds the seemingly phony source. “Brad’s really showing he’s put in the effort to make the weekend all about Jen and him.” The so-called “insider” further maintains that Jolie is also planning a trip to the estate, but Pitt has mapped out his weekend with Aniston “so that they’ll be leaving mere minutes before Angelina arrives.”

As for a potential run-in with Jolie, the suspicious source says Aniston “seems to have been emboldened by reuniting with Brad, and I could totally see Jen giving Angie a piece of her mind if they came face-to-face.” The alleged source goes on to say that Pitt “would secretly get a kick out of” a confrontation between the actresses, but he’s still trying to avoid any drama so he’s “begging the staff to not even mention his getaway with Jen to Angie.”

The tabloid’s report is pure fiction. Separate reps for both Pitt and Aniston are going on the record to dismiss the article as nonsense. Despite what the magazine’s anonymous “insider” claims, spokespeople for both stars confirm they’re not planning a trip to France. Reps for both stars have also stressed countless times that they’re not back together.

Last month, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style for falsely claiming Pitt and Aniston had been going on dates after reuniting at her 50th birthday party in February. Although it’s true the actor briefly attended his ex-wife’s bash, it was simply to support her as a friend. In addition to reps for both stars assuring us they haven’t romantically reconciled, reputable outlets such as E! News have also confirmed that Pitt and Aniston “definitely aren’t dating or on that path.”

It’s worth noting, Life & Style is the same untrustworthy tabloid that previously claimed Pitt and Jolie were getting back together. The magazine has dropped that phony narrative to focus on the actor reuniting with his first wife. This latest storyline is no more realistic.

Mila Kunis Movie Rumors

Mila Kunis Movie Rumors

(Getty Images)

Mila Kunis’ movie career has been the subject of many bogus tabloid stories. Gossip Cop has debunked several false articles about the actress’s professional life. Here are a few wrong rumors.

Back in February, Gossip Cop busted the Globe for making up a story about Kunis having trouble getting movie roles because Hollywood producers found her too “dumpy.” The outlet alleged that unnamed executives refused to hire the actress because they felt she was “worn out” after having two kids. The report was both mean-spirited and untrue. Kunis certainly didn’t appear “dumpy” at the red carpet premiere of her last movie, the 2018 action-comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me, in which she got to play an action hero. Regardless, a spokesperson for the actress assured us the premise was complete nonsense.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Last August, Gossip Cop called out Star for wrongly reporting that Kunis’ 2015 honeymoon with Ashton Kutcher was being turned into the plot of a movie. The report came on the heels of the actress’s interview on “The Tonight Show,” during which she opened up about her disastrous honeymoon, which involved the actress and her husband traveling across California in an RV along with their infant daughter and Kutcher’s parents. The tabloid insisted the real-life incident was being turned into a romantic comedy, despite not one Hollywood trade publication reporting anything about it. The actress’s rep told us that no studio ever approached her or Kutcher about turning their honeymoon into a movie.

Last May, Gossip Cop busted the National Enquirer for falsely claiming Kunis was quitting movies to have a third baby with Kutcher. Not only did Kunis’ spokesperson tell us the report was untrue, but the actress herself has stated in several different interviews that she’s done having kids. The actress previously told “Entertainment Tonight” that she and Kutcher are “good on two” children, adding, “I have two really healthy, really wonderful kids. Why test my luck?” Kunis later confirmed to People magazine she will “only have two” kids. As time has proven, the actress isn’t expecting a third child and hasn’t quit the film industry.

And in March 2017, Gossip Cop debunked a RadarOnline article about Kunis feuding with Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann over the movie Bad Moms. Back when the comedy was first in development, Mann was set to star and her husband was on board as a producer. The spouses eventually dropped out of the project and Kunis took over the starring role.

According to the blog, Apatow and Mann were upset about the movie becoming a success without them and were holding a grudge against Kunis as a result. The story didn’t make much sense considering that the husband and wife team made the decision to drop out of Bad Moms. The spouses weren’t pushed aside by Kunis and would have no reason to be angry with her. Regardless, Kunis’ rep and sources close to both Apatow and Mann assured us the article was fabricated.

George Clooney Feud Rumors

(Getty Images)

The tabloids have created a lot of fake feuds between George Clooney and other celebrities. Gossip Cop has debunked several of the actor’s supposed battles with other stars. Here are a few rumors surrounding the subject.

Last August, Gossip Cop busted the Globe for falsely claiming Clooney was feuding with Will Smith because the Men in Black star was supposedly “trash-talking” him around Hollywood. The tabloid alleged that Smith found the fellow movie star to be “overrated and overpaid” and was jealous of him receiving lifetime achievement awards.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The story was based on claims from an anonymous “source,” but Clooney’s own spokesperson told us on the record that there’s never been an issue between him and Smith. Additionally, the two stars have crossed paths over the years and their interactions have always been friendly. Photos from the 2006 Producers Guild Awards show Clooney and Smith chatting on the red carpet and goofing around for the cameras.

Gossip Cop previously busted Star for wrongly reporting that Clooney had been feuding with Brad Pitt during the time Pitt was still with Angelina Jolie. The magazine maintained that Jolie never liked Clooney, resulting in a rift between him and his Ocean’s Eleven co-star, but the two men buried the hatched following Pitt’s separation.

In reality, however, Clooney spent plenty of time with both Pitt and Jolie during the time the exes were still together. In fact, there are several photos of the trio mingling at different red carpet events and awards shows over the years. The actress never came between the two actors, nor did they ever end a feud that never existed in the first place.

And finally, Gossip Cop called out OK! for making up a story about Clooney having a “long-running feud” with Tom Cruise. According to the outlet, Clooney strongly disliked the fellow actor and found it “pathetic” that he still insisted on starring in action movies at his age. The magazine further contended that Cruise somehow caught wind of how Clooney felt and was “not happy” about it. Sources close to both stars, however, assured us there was no truth to the narrative.

Meanwhile, Cruise offered a message of support to Clooney following the actor’s scooter accident in Italy last year. Cruise also congratulated the fellow actor on the birth of his twins during a 2017 interview. There’s clearly never been any animosity between the two stars. The ongoing saga about Clooney battling other celebrities is simply baseless.

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Back Together Six Months After Finalizing Divorce?

Ben Affleck Jennifer Garner Back Together Divorce

(Getty Images)

One of this week’s tabloids claims Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting back together six months after finalizing their divorce. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

According to Woman’s Day Australia, the ex-spouses are headed towards a reconciliation just months after hashing out a divorce settlement. A supposed source tells the magazine, “Jen and Ben are in a great place right now. A lot of people in their inner circle think there’s a good chance they could work things out as a couple again. Just because they’re no longer married doesn’t mean it’s out of the question.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Earlier this month, Affleck and “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus split for a second time after briefly rekindling their romance. Meanwhile, Garner has been dating CaliBurger CEO John Miller for nearly a year, but the magazine speculates the actress’s romance is dwindling. It’s been a few weeks since Garner and her boyfriend were spotted together, but there’s nothing to actually indicate they’ve broken up as the couple has always kept their relationship very private.

Still, the outlet’s alleged insider says Garner is willing to take Affleck back now that he’s cleaned up his act, while the actor “would take Jen back in a heartbeat.” The seemingly phony tipster adds, “ It’s up to her whether she’d be willing to go down that road again… But at the end of the day, he’s a big part of her past, present and who knows, maybe her future, too.”

The tabloid’s story simply isn’t accurate. Affleck and Garner have remained on good terms and successfully co-parent their three children, but their romance has long been over and they’re not reigniting it. The claim otherwise is coming from an anonymous and untraceable “source,” but Gossip Cop reached out to the actor’s spokesperson, who tells us he’s not getting back together with his ex-wife. Despite what the outlet’s so-called “insider” says, the actor’s rep confirms that the status of his divorce from Garner isn’t changing.

It’s worth noting, there should be no doubt at this point that Woman’s Day makes up stories about the ex-spouses. In January, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Garner was pregnant with Miller’s baby three months after finalizing her divorce from Affleck. As time has proven, that wasn’t the case.

Back in March 2018, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming Affleck had “dumped” Shookus and was getting back together with Garner. The actor and the “SNL” producer didn’t split until five months later, and he never reconciled with his ex-wife. The tabloid’s various narratives surrounding the exes never pan out. This latest one won’t either.

Tom Cruise ‘Shocked’ Jamie Foxx And Katie Holmes Are Still Together?

Tom Cruise Jamie Foxx Katie Holmes

(Getty Images)

Is Tom Cruise “shocked” that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are still together? The short answer is he doesn’t care. The Mission: Impossible star moved on from his marriage to Holmes a long time ago, and whether she from time-to-time sees his Collateral co-star Foxx is of little concern. However, an often discredited blog has once again manufactured an article that alleges Cruise is now bent out of shape about Foxx being with his ex-wife.

According to HollywoodLife, Cruise, who’s been divorced from Holmes for nearly seven years, suddenly feels “betrayed” by her having a casual romance with Foxx. And to make its report sound legitimate, the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies trots out a so-called “source” who claims Cruise is “shocked” Foxx and Holmes are “happy” with one another. The outlet then tips off it doesn’t really have an insider because that unnamed individual is quoted as further saying Cruise is surprised Holmes and Foxx “seem to still be together.” A real “source” would know one way or the other if they’re still a couple and not hedge with a word like “seem.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Towards the end of its fabricated report, HollywoodLies maintains that Cruise was going to call his daughter Suri on her 13th birthday, which was last Thursday. It also claims he’s looking “forward to repairing” his relationship with her. But the truth is Cruise has no contact whatsoever with Suri because she and Holmes are no longer members of the Church of Scientology.

Gossip Cop is not remotely surprised by the falsity of HollywoodLies’ article because that site has been repeatedly caught publishing made-up stories about Foxx, Holmes and Cruise. For instance, three years ago we busted the same outlet when it untruthfully contended Foxx and Holmes were engaged. Obviously, that was wrong.

It also bears mentioning, the blog’s premise is not original either. It posted a story two years ago that similarly asserted inaccurately how Cruise felt “betrayed” by Foxx and Holmes, and that he was supposedly “shocked” his friend was now dating his ex. At the time, a Cruise insider confirmed to Gossip Cop the report was “not true.” Nothing has changed since then.

Further proof the outlet truly doesn’t have insight into those stars is that a year ago, HollywoodLies insisted Holmes and Foxx were having a baby and starting a family. Clearly, that was a lie, too. Interestingly, in another made-up article it posted about Foxx being like a “father figure” to Holmes’ daughter, that same site noted Cruise has nothing to do with Suri because of Scientology, and yet in its new tall tale, the blog says he was calling her on her birthday and wanted to rebuild his relationship with her.

The bottom line is HollywoodLife makes up stories about Foxx, Holmes, and Cruise, and it can’t keep track of its fibs. Foxx and Holmes were never engaged. They never had a baby. The Oscar-winner is not a “father figure” to Suri, who he’s rarely seen. And Cruise, who has his own life, is not “shocked” seven years after he and Holmes divorced that his ex-wife and Foxx are still together because their relationship does not affect him.

Britney Spears To Get Electroshock Therapy?

Britney Spears Mental Health

(Getty Images)

Is Britney Spears going to be subjected to electroshock therapy? That’s the claim in one of this week’s celebrity magazines. Gossip Cop looked into the report, and we’ve been assured it’s untrue and not a possible treatment for the singer who’s currently in a mental healthy facility.

Employing its typical style of alliteration and exaggeration, the Globe begins its latest article by contending, “Distraught over her dad’s fading health, bipolar pop princes Britney Spears is fighting for her sanity in a psych ward where she’s heavily medicated and could face brain-frying electroshock treatments.” After noting how the singer is currently in a mental health facility, following her father and conservator, Jamie Spears, suffering a ruptured colon, the supermarket tabloid ominously asserts that if Spears’ medication regimen doesn’t work, “there are more extreme medical measures Britney and her family may be forced to take if she doesn’t get stable.” Specifically, the outlet alleges she’ll undergo electroshock therapy to “jolt her out of crazed, manic or depressive states.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

To bolster its manufactured premise, the tabloid has a doctor, who’s never treated or personally assessed Spears’ condition, discuss electroshock therapy. The medical professional notes how that particular therapy can cause “permanent memory loss and PTSD and should be a last resort.” But, of course, if you carefully pay attention to what the often discredited publication is doing here, you’ll notice that despite exclaiming on its cover, “Britney’s Electroshock Nightmare,” and having a doctor outline the pitfalls of it, no one is actually saying she’s going to get electroshock therapy.

The outlet is just floating the idea of it being Spears’ treatment. And it’s using phrases like “could face brain-frying electroshock treatments” to trick its readers into believing that’s even a medical option for Spears. But it’s not.

Significantly, no reputable media organizations are reporting Spears may have electroshock therapy. In fact, People has made her condition sound far less dire, with an insider offering how Spears has every right to take “time off” to get treatment for her mental health as her father recuperates. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual friend of ours and Spears, who confirms the magazine’s speculative story is 100 percent “incorrect.”

The reality is the tabloids make a lot of claims about the singer that don’t pan out. For instance, Gossip Cop recently busted the outlet’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for falsely maintaining Spears’ boyfriend is going to dump her while she’s in the mental health facility. Not only did an impeccable insider tell us it was untrue, but since she’s been in the treatment center, Sam Asghari has posted on Instagram how his longtime girlfriend “inspires” him and even shared a montage of video clips showing them kissing. The only real “shock” here is that readers still believe places like the Globe when it comes to unverified tales about Spears.

Katie Holmes Movie Rumors

(Getty Images)

When the tabloids aren’t busy making up stories about Katie Holmes’ personal life, they often publish false stories about her movie career. Gossip Cop has debunked many bogus reports surrounding the actress’s profession. Here are a few wrong rumors.

In February, Gossip Cop busted NW for wrongly reporting that Holmes was teaming up with Jamie Foxx for a “blockbuster movie” in which they’d play husband and wife. The magazine maintained that the two were meeting with screenwriters to come up with a plot in the same vein of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the 2005 action movie starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Not only did a source close to the situation tell us the story was made-up, but not a single Hollywood trade publication reported anything about the two working on a project together. Meanwhile, the couple keeps their romance very private, so the idea they’d be looking to flaunt it on the big screen isn’t logical.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Gossip Cop called out the Globe last November for wrongly alleging that Holmes was willing to take any movie role for money because she was in desperate need of cash. According to the magazine, the actress has been struggling financially ever since her 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise, despite him paying her nearly half-a-million-dollars a year in child support for their daughter Suri. The magazine’s story was based on claims from an anonymous “source,” but Holmes’ rep told us on the record it was entirely untrue. The actress’s spokesperson assured us she’s not having money issues or agreeing to any role she’s offered.

Also last November, Gossip Cop debunked a Grazia article claiming Holmes was teaming up with Nicole Kidman for a “Hollywood production.” The tabloid said the two actresses were developing a project together, but keeping it a secret from their mutual ex-husband, Cruise. Holmes’ own rep told us the story was completely made-up, and there obviously hasn’t been any news about the actresses working together. Both Holmes and Kidman have a number of projects lined up, none of which include each other.

Back in 2017, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely asserting that Holmes was getting “revenge” on Cruise by making a movie targeting Scientology. The story was published because the actress signed on to star in the film adaptation of the self-help book The Secret. According to the outlet, Holmes only agreed to star in the film “to defy Scientology’s views of therapy.” The premise of the article was very flawed. The Secret is a book about achieving one’s goals by visualizing them, not about therapy. The actress’s involvement in the movie adaptation has absolutely nothing to do with Cruise or Scientology.

And finally, Gossip Cop called out the National Enquirer in 2016 for alleging that Holmes yelled at Cruise for supposedly offering their daughter Suri a role in one of his upcoming movies. In reality, the actor hasn’t been in contact with his daughter since 2013 and he never offered to put her in a film. At the time the article was published, Holmes’ rep assured us there was “no truth” to it. Cruise has remained estranged from Holmes and their daughter in the time since.

Sophie Turner Ignored Joe Jonas At ‘Game Of Thrones’ Premiere Party?

(Getty Images)

Did Sophie Turner really ignore Joe Jonas during the “Game of Thrones” premiere party earlier this month? One of this week’s tabloids claims the actress snubbed her fiancé at the event to spend time with her co-stars instead. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.

According to OK!, Turner “ditched” Jonas immediately after the two walked the red carpet together at the New York City premiere of the final season of “Game of Thrones.” A supposed source tells the outlet, “Joe’s still annoyed about it. She posed with him when the cameras were there and then pretty much ran off to gossip with her castmates, leaving him awkwardly by himself.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The alleged insider goes on to say that the singer understood it was the cast’s last premiere together, but “he wasn’t happy with the fact that he seemed to be an afterthought.” The seemingly phony source adds, “The ‘Game of Thrones’ crew can be very cliquey, and Sophie could’ve been more considerate of his feelings.”

The tabloid’s story is completely made-up. For starters, photos taken from inside the afterparty show Turner and Jonas sitting at a table together. Also during the event, the actress and her fiancé posed for a photo with her co-stars Kit Harington and Jack Gleeson. Not only is it clear that Turner and Jonas were by each other’s side during the afterparty, but the singer also mingled with his fiancée’s colleagues. Dozens of photographers covered the bash, and there’s not a single image showing Jonas “awkwardly by himself.”

Additionally, Jonas and Turner went on a romantic getaway to Mexico following the “Game of Thrones” premiere. E! News, a much more reliable source for celebrity news than OK!, noted that the happy couple strolled on the beach holding hands and cuddled by the pool during their trip. Their relationship is clearly going strong and no drama occurred at the afterparty for the actress’s HBO series.

It’s worth noting, OK! has already proven to have zero insight into the singer and the actress’s romance. Last September, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for wrongly reporting that Jonas and Turner were expecting a baby together. As time has proven, the “Game of Thrones” wasn’t pregnant last year and still isn’t carrying a child.

The tabloid is seemingly trying to capitalize on the popularity of “Game of Thrones,” as well as the public’s interest in Jonas and Turner’s romance, by coming up with a false premise combining both. The only thing that should be “ignored” is the magazine’s bogus article.

William H. Macy Divorcing Felicity Huffman Following Guilty Plea In College Admissions Scandal?

William H Macy Felicity Huffman Divorce

(Getty Images)

A tabloid claims William H. Macy is divorcing Felicity Huffman following her guilty plea in the college admission cheating scandal. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop exclusively can debunk it.

Earlier this month, the “Desperate Housewives” actress pleaded guilty to the fraud charges against her and admitted to paying $ 15,000 to have daughter’s SAT scores boosted. According to the National Enquirer, Huffman’s husband is “set to walk out” amid the latest development in the scandal. A headline in the latest issue of the magazine reads, “Humiliated Macy Fed Up With Felicity!”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

An alleged insider tells the magazine, “Bill was never on board with the maniacal lengths Felicity went to in order to get their daughter Sophia into college.” Prosecutors are reportedly seeking four to 10 months’ jail time for Huffman, to which the “insider” states, “If Felicity’s heading to prison, Bill likely won’t be there for her when she gets out.”

The tabloid’s report simply isn’t accurate. Gossip Cop checked in with Macy’s rep, who exclusively tells us on the record that the spouses of more than 20 years aren’t headed for a split over the actress’s legal troubles. His spokesperson says the magazine’s tale couldn’t be “further from the truth.” Macy is standing with his wife during this difficult time.

People magazine, a much more reliable source for celebrity news than the Enquirer, recently also noted that Huffman and Macy “remain united” following her guilty plea. Additionally, Huffman and Macy were photographed holding hands while arriving at a Los Angeles courthouse earlier this month. It’s clear the actor is supporting Huffman amid the controversy.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has had to debunk a similar story surrounding the spouses. Last month, we busted the Enquirer’s sister outlet, Life & Style, for falsely claiming Huffman and Macy were headed for a divorce over the scandal. That ridiculous article even maintained that Macy was using dating apps as he prepared to split from his wife. The premise wasn’t true then, and it’s no more accurate now that Huffman has pleaded guilty.

In addition to making up phony articles about Huffman’s marriage, the Enquirer has also used the college admissions scandal to create nonexistent drama between the actress and her former co-stars. A few weeks ago, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for wrongly reporting the “Desperate Housewives” cast was furious with Huffman because they stood to lose millions of dollars in residuals. Only, the ABC drama doesn’t play in reruns, so the storyline was completely baseless. The same goes for this latest tale.
